When I've read this I have only one thought: She didn't want to help somebody, now she paid for it.

Sometimes I think maybe there is a God afterall.

And that He has a sense of humour.

Paint_It_Black

Of course. If you were God, wouldn't you spend your days amusingly torturing the little insignificant creatures you had created? Being God would be much like playing Sims or any of those zoo games. You try at first, but pretty soon you just want to burn down all the houses and let all the dangerous animals run amok.

Its not funny that 4 people died, but its funny that the cold hearted bitch was like 'OOOH CAR CRASH! LETS VIDEOTAPE AND NOT CALL AUTHORITIES!!!!'

none of this is funny! 4 people DIED in a burning car, a girl found out that her sister got killed! how could you guys laugh at this?!

... tee hee.. i couldn't resist. hahhahaha. isn't there that law in massachusets where you get arrested if you stand aruond and not help?

Nood!es
04-20-2006, 04:19 PM
Its only funny because the girl is a dumb bitch and decided to videotape people burning to death.
People burning to death=not funny
Dumb bitch not doing a thing about it=funny

None of it's funny. It just served her right.

04-20-2006, 04:41 PM
oh, shut the fuck up. If you had a camera handy and you saw a burning car you would tape it. You bunch of fucking mooks. It's not like if she called someone she could've saved them. There's nothing she could've done except for to enjoy the spectacle.

TheUnholyNightbringer
04-20-2006, 04:42 PM
Point is it's a camera phone. Why wasn't she using that phone to call the emergency services?

so, you'd use a mobile phone with a camera to film the event, rather than use the phone to call an ambulance?

calichix
04-20-2006, 04:44 PM
Because calling emergency services isn't interesting.

And I'd call once I'd gotten the moneyshot. 5 seconds won't make much difference.

The thing said she arrived when the car was already in flames. For all we know there was already croud around it. Chances are pretty good someone called before she got there. With such a small article with a lack of details, we don't know the whole story. Obviously, the purpose of the article was to make her look bad not to tell the whole truth.

H1T_That, who gave you the right to look down on people?

TheUnholyNightbringer
04-20-2006, 04:51 PM
Sorry, but I believe most people would call the emergency services. I'm not going to feel sympathy because videoing it is more "interesting".

Um, no. What/why the fuck?

TheUnholyNightbringer
04-20-2006, 04:54 PM
If there was already the emergency services there, fair enough. But if there wasn't, she should've called them first, whether or not there was a crowd there.

sad, sad, sad.

Jebus
04-20-2006, 04:56 PM
I'm assuming burning cars would be full of smoke. I doubt she even knew for sure people were inside of it. Heck, if I was in front of a burning car, I'd film it.

TheUnholyNightbringer
04-20-2006, 04:57 PM
Perhaps you would. But I remain totally confident that I and most other people would call the emergency services.

Jebus
04-20-2006, 05:00 PM
We don't know the whole story here. Maybe when she got there, she saw people with their cell phones so she didn't call. No need to cluter the emergency help line. Hey, maybe she did call. We don't know that.

TheUnholyNightbringer
04-20-2006, 05:02 PM
No, we don't know the whole story. But I'm speaking figuratively.

calichix
04-20-2006, 05:03 PM
yeah, she definitely was not the only person there and/or she called the cops first, before the car was on fire.

if this thread isn't suppost to be funny, then why is it entitled "Bahahahaha!"

Duskygrin
04-20-2006, 05:06 PM
My opinion is that she's pretty glad her sister died. Yeah she said that she would have helped (if she could), but that's only for the media & anyone who believes that she would have raised her smallest finger to help her sis out of the car (by calling the cops or somesuch shizzle), anymore than she would have helped any other stranger, anyone who believes that is an ass.

She's probably enjoying the prospect of not having to share the inheritance & that's it. *shrugs*

I never said it wasn't supposed to be funny. I said that it wasn't funny.

I couldn't think of the correct word. What I mean is if the situation is what I believe it to be, which is what the article leads it to be, then it did serve her right. Whether or not that situation is the correct one we'll never know.

Jebus
04-20-2006, 05:14 PM
You souded too affirmable with your replies as if there wasn't any doubt in your mind that all she did was stand dare without any remorse. That's what bothered me.

TheUnholyNightbringer
04-20-2006, 05:15 PM
I never said she stood there without feeling any remorse. But I remain firm that she did far less than she could have done, whether it was her sister or not.

Jebus
04-20-2006, 05:25 PM
How could your remain so firm that she didn't do as much as she could have with such a small article? Eitherway, in these type of situtations, there's not much you could do unless you want to kill yourself. You're suppose to leave it to the fire fighters. It's sort of like trying to stop a bank robbery. You shouldn't do it yourself.

Maybe there was a lack respect involved for filming it, but then again maybe she was doing it to help the authorities figure out what caused it sort of like filming the the 911 attack.

I can't say exactly why but that cracked me up. Unfortunately, the majority of this thread has got all fagged up.

I was more intrigued by that video of the girl who was born without a face on the same news site. What freaky shit. I had trouble believing that it wasn't some sick puppet. They should have just gotten her to play that mutant girl for that movie that came out this year, The Hills Have Eyes, and saved money on special effects.

I'm still not understanding why anyone would film a burning car under any circumstances.

That's because in the Bronx 90% of cars are burning. For those of us who live in civilisation, it's something of a rare occurance.

Nah, most of our cars are just in constant, steady motion, with the occasional bullet comin' outta the window.

I'm still not understanding why anyone would film a burning car under any circumstances.

Because it's unusual. Perhaps with the intention of getting on the news with it. Or one of those funniest home videos shows. I see no problem with anyone wanting to film it, as long as they called for an ambulance first or were sure help was already on the way.

JohnnyNemesis

When in the course of reactions to a flaming vehicle does "I'm going to video tape it!" come to mind? Apparently pretty soon, which is saddening.

ruroken
04-20-2006, 08:09 PM
Hell, I'm sure that comes to mind for a lot of things though [for HOMOS]. Like, someone jumping off a building. Or drowning themselves. Or holding a gun to their head. Or when someone is eating somebody else.

JohnnyNemesis
04-20-2006, 08:10 PM
When in the course of reactions to a flaming vehicle does "I'm going to video tape it!" come to mind?

This is what I was really getting at. I understand that it's a remarkable sight that you don't see too often, if ever at all, but "I'm going to video tape it!" is definitely not one of things that comes to mind. Maybe gawking at it, but if a phone is in your hand...I'm not even wondering how the woman could be so callous, cause I don't care. It just seems like it didn't even OCCUR to her to call someone. That's what gets me.

ruroken
04-20-2006, 08:12 PM
Also, a burning car isnt THAT cool to have to have on tape...
like, what about watching a movie for that if you like it so much?
