I loooooooove Buddy Holly. Love love love.

...And sadly I have deleted all of my BH mp3's since I have them on cd's but anyway, if you can find these, do download or buy or whatever(all by Buddy Holly):

Midnight Shift
Peggy Sue Got Married
Oh Boy!
Maybe Baby
That'll Be The Day

Anything by him is pretty awesome.

For more 50's awesome (zomg, original rock'n'roll), download the American Graffiti soundtrack - it has some AWESOME awesome songs. It's how I got into Buddy Holly. Chuck Berry rocks, too.

I'm always in the oldies mood. Thanks to my brother when he's not listening 80's crap I always hear Chuck Berry in the house.

Bebopaula - Gene Vincent (http://s53.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3CYGRTLE0FBQQ14BUTEUJV9ZVW)

And I can send more when you get on MSN. Uploading takes too much time.

I'm glad!

I love old rock because it's so cliché without being cliché. It's like, all of those cliché pop lyrics were actually written back then, but back then they weren't clichés, because that period sort of created the conventions of "oh I love you baby"-style of lyrics, and yet made great music out of it.

Yeah, the lyrics are silly but I don't mind them because the music is just awesome. I got the rest. Oh Boy's pretty good.

Great songs! I didn't like Elvis Presley's "Love me tender" that much, though...

Anyway, here's another song of the same style, enjoy!

Thank you! I used to have some Buddy Holly songs, including a couple of those, but lost them. Good stuff.
