What is wrong with people and t-shirts these days? T-shirts, a very common article of clothing, can hardly be seen nowadays without some stupid slogan such as this (http://cgi.ebay.com/UGLY-BABY-T-SHIRT-ADULT-X-LARGE-NEW_W0QQitemZ8307125184QQcategoryZ28022QQssPageNam eZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting) on it. I saw two people with that shirt today, no kidding, and know of atleast three or four others who have it as well. Of course this isn't the only one, I've seen other such as "I'm bad with names... can I just call you stupid?", "I'm out of bed... what more do you want?!", and "5/4 people have a problem with fractions". 5/4 people have a problem with fractions... what the hell is wrong with people? The creators aren't funny or clever, and even if they were, the wearer wouldn't be, yet the seem to think they are. Why can't t-shirts just go back to being tolerable to look at?

It's humour for the under developed.

I don't like them either. When I see one I automatically assume the person has either a terrible sense of humour, or none at all. That's usually right.

I so fully endorse this thread that I have a raging hard-on at the mere thought of it.

I prefer to get my shirts at used clothes stores. They have nice slogans like "4 days to get the job done!!!" and "Great deals on the products you use most!"

And the pride of the pack, a sure that says "Kid's Milk!" I think some elementary school made it for some campaign, but I've distorted it. Fuck I'm so wearing that shirt tomorrow.

We SO need a picture of that.

Funny thing about that shirt is that all babies are ugly.

There are of course the short ones such as "Easily distracted" or "You wish", the latter of which is cleverly put over the chest section of a woman's shirt; it being worn by a 40ish looking woman really takes the cake.

There are some funny ones...but not the ones you usually see in hot topic or ebay or someone's high school. tshirthell does have some decent ones though.

I would love to have the balls to wear a tshirthell shirt.

T-shirthell shirts are okay, but they're too bumper sticker like.

Those shirts were funny the first time.

But that might be because the first time, I was 11.

All About Eve
04-27-2006, 09:05 PM
Exactly. At 11 they induced a "OMG! lololo". Now they induce a *slaps self in forehead*

Most of them reall do suck indeed.

Not all though, like mine!

I love Per's random shirts, they are awesome.

All About Eve

Now that one is awesome, to a very high power. Shirts with an actual theme aren't nearly as bad.

I actually stole the idea from T-shirt Hell, they had one that just said: "I fucked the girl in hanson". I wanted it for aaaages, but they stopped selling it, so I made my own, with some improvements.

I had a really fat head :(

I made improvements though! And I actually love Hanson, so I can pull it off.

I'd wear it regardless, if I wouldn't get in trouble at school for it.

T-shirthell shirts are okay

NO THEY FUCKING AREN'T. OH GOD FUCK.

Sorry, I've just gone on so many raging rants on this subject that I wanna cry. All t-shirts with that bullshit need to fucking burn oh my god I wanna kill someone.

The slogans are funny. When implemented into a t-shirt they fail, but as just a slogan, reading it for the first time, the satire is amusing.

This one made me chuckle:

I occasionally find those shirts funny. I don't see any personality in them, but I do occasionally find them humorous.

Sometimes on a rare occasion I'll find one that'll make me chuckle, but like I said, very rarely. And for the price they charge for a bit of cloth with some text, I'd sooner make one myself for a third of the cost.

But they're not something I'd wear anyway.

"Hard to get

And one other I don't remember.

I think I can make a black t-shirt and a nerdy white emot on it (with glasses [I wear too, btw]) and GIGANT phones and the shirt will be White & Nerdy. But the NIRVANA, The Offspring, Aerosmith, Linkin Park, The Exploted/ The Clash and Green Day's shirts are the best and I really think that all others sux (exept some other punk & rock bands :p )Those i-have-to-be-funny shirts really are... :nope:

Why do all of your posts have to reference White and Nerdy in some way? Isn't that song like a year old?

Hm, I don't know what is the problem with a slogan on shirts.

I own this one, and I like it.:D

One guy at my workplace has the worst shirts ever. Like a Mustang logo with the words "Well Hung." Or the classic shirt with two arrows, "the man, the legend." Fucking terrible.

As far as slogan t-shirts go, Threadless consistently has the best. My favorite: "A city built on rock and roll would be structurally unsound."

Rag Doll

i have so many threadless slogan shirts. my favorite is "i listen to bands that don't even exist yet". orororor "in case of emergency: break dance"...orr...*trails off*.... yeah. i love my threadless shirts <3

my other favorite slogan shirt is from tshirthell..."narcoleptics sleep around"..

Anybody remember the shirt that said, "You laugh at me cause I'm different, I laugh at you all cause your all the same" and like, everybody in high school had it.

I have to admit, I do like that one shirt that says, "It's a free country, you get what you paid for."
