I don't even know what I'll be doing yet, but who cares? I'm finally out of my rut.

Congrats! Hope it's not a shitty one.

Where are you going to work? You surely at least know that? Haha. Congrats!

It's in a solicitors. My step-mum got it for me (she, being a solicitor, works in one), so it's kind of cheating, but I was never going to get one on my own, methinks.

Won't know anything else about it until I see her tonight, but nothing could be worse (financially or for one's self-esteem) than being unemployed like I have been up until now.

Good luck, Dave. May it be something you enjoy, then you're a lucky man.

Congrats. Finding a job isn't easy, so make sure you don't lose that one.

I'm happy for you.
It's usually easier to find jobs after you at least worked somewhere once. At least it is here. I currently have two jobs. :/

I don't have a job at all, but I'm trying to get one - probably it'll have to be a shitty job with shitty wages for working shitty shifts, but that's where most people start anyway.

I want a job too. I've only had one job in my entire life. And that was when I was 13. Oooh. I want to make teh moneyz.

But ehm, yes, congrats.

Nice one man. I know how it feels, I was like that for a couple of months last year.

I hope it all works out.

Big time congratulations, as I know you'd been struggling to find employment.

I got my first job last month. It was at a local card/comic retailer. Its like a gamestop, but sells figurines and comics and cards and stuff like that. I now get half off everything.

So go on then, spill the beans

I wish the same could happen to me! It's been 3 years and countin'! :(

Have you tried moving out of your parents' house?

He's talking to the relevant one. So no, not you.

Thank you everyone :)

Okay, so I know more about what I'm going to be doing. Data entry stuff and setting up databases. So I'll be working with computers. Thank FUCK. Even the most boring computerness makes time fly by for me, so I don't have to worry about the days dragging on and on and on like a monkey dragging another, heavier, deader monkey across the road.

Nice one, doesn't sound too bad at all. Good luck with it. Do you start tomorrow?

The Talking Pie

Indeed I do. My dad took me out yesterday to buy me a suit and stuff, and so now I have shoes that look conspicuously Willy Wonka-esque

If I was to work at something that involves computers, I'd be a game designer or work at ATi or something like that.

Well, ideally I'd be a computer programmer, because that's what I'm best at, but life isn't that simple.

Life's as simple as you make it.

*sigh*

No, it isn't.

I would love to agree with you. But I can't.

Life's as simple as you make it.

You're either white, conservative, or both.

That, or he's talking about the cereal. Life is very simple.

But then, they added cinnamon, and I was thorougly confused.

That was full of win <3
