Trevor Dunn's Trio Convulsant. They're alright but not quite what I was hoping for.

The Mercury Program. Quite nice mellow electronic instrumental music. Their album "A Data Learn the Language" is pretty good. I'd only listen to it as background music, but for that, it more than serves its purpose.

InDK. I was disappointed, but they have a few great songs, so it wasn't a complete loss.

If you haven't already, Let's Talk about Feelings is easily their best. There's so many great songs.

Good band, that's their best album. Have you heard the secret "I will be hating you for Christmas" song?

Yes, that would be one of their last 3 CDs, so I have it.

I still haven't listened to much of it yet, but I'm getting there. Currently, my favorite is Resolve, because that was the first one I downloaded.

Devin Townsend for me, I cant get my head around Strapping Young Lad but Devid Townsend Band/Ocean Machine stuff really seems to grow on you from what Ive heard. I reccomend Christeen for starters.

At the Drive In- they're not usually the kind of music I hear, but they're pretty good. I still have to get used to them. I don't know why but they remind me of the Mars Volta.

Revolver-2005?

Im pretty sure it's because they have the same singer or something.

And Lagwagon is awesome.

I just started listening to Citizen Fish, they're a Brit-Ska band and they're pretty good.

Time Again- Very awesome band. I'm going to look more into their music. Much like Rancid and those kind of punk bands.

Tsunami Bomb. I liked some of their songs, say it if you mean it, 3 days 1000 nights, jigsaw, and tetanus shot. I hate their super punx songs like I bought you, Irish Boys, and Rotting Vampire Eyeballs.

Heavens, very mellow band but they are amazing. The singer has a great voice and they kind of remind me of Depeche Mode.

Sparta
I like all their songs on their myspace. "While OCeana Sleeps" and "Taking Back Control" are good songs from click. (http://www.myspace.com/sparta) Except for "Vacant Skies" on this other page (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=112349443).

1208 and Deviates, both within a few days of each other. They're both awesome. I think I prefer 1208 so far.

Edit: According to popular opinion, however, I should like the Deviates more.

Do it. I listened to it so much when it came out that I almost killed it. And I've been listening to it lately. It's godlike.

the pink spiders & the raconteurs

been thinking of buying some stuff or more stuff by the following as well: the hush sound, tokyo rose, cartel, senses fail, hard-fi, the classic crime, and cute is what we aim for. have heard some stuff here and there from all of them in the past week or so, but not enough to make any judgement besides "i like 'em enough". except tokyo rose...i saw them a while back in a local show. yay jersey bands. (dont think i ever saw senses fail though, unfortunately).

His version of Hallelujah is amazing, but on occasion I'd rather listen to one of his other songs.

I prefer So Real to anything else, but I also like Lost Highway and Grace.

I've just been turned onto the World/Inferno Friendship Society. The songs i've heard are really good. I'm really curious to see how they will be live when they play the the Bouncing Souls next week.

I will definatly be buying something at the show by them.

The Mars Volta - HOLY HELL! YESPLZ. I got De-Loused in the Comatorium and have been blown away by it. Atonal guitar over strange rythms = w00t.
