I love these guys. They're such a great pop band and they've gotten better and better with every album they put out. Listen to them. Love them. Get giddy over them and read their road/studio journals so you can see what dorks they are. <3

Here's a video for the first single too: http://www.guster.com/splash060518/video.html

Very cute.

I'm listening to it now, and I've come to the conclusion that I have to buy this cd.

I enjoy guster, and I heard the new single on the radio a couple times in stores somewhere. I like it. Not a huge fan, but they have a nice sound. When did they start as a band? I always thought they were a 90s band, but I'm finding that I think I might be wrong.

They formed in 1991-92. Their first album came out in 1994 but it only had a couple decent songs. This is album #5 for them.

yayayayay! I met them on a beach like 10 or so years ago. They gave me a copy of Parachute. I've been following them ever since. :)

It was all an elaborate plan to get you to sleep with them. They had to plant the seed when you were 12 and let it grow for 10 years so they couldn't be charged with pedophilia. I can't wait until I start a band and I can do the same thing.

Mmm... pop...

Thanks Josh.

I don't know why I didn't listen/enjoy before when you mentionned them. Meh.

They're all great but they get a bit less consistent the further back you go. They started out with just 2 acoustic guitars and a set of bongos so you can probably imagine their sound has changed a bit overtime. Their last one, Keep It Together, was amazing though. There were a couple songs on it I didn't like at first cause they were a little TOO poppy and radio-ready but they're just so good that it doesn't matter.
