Yes, now that I've got a certain download program working I can finally start uploading some little gems for you lucky, lucky people

Starting with a nice cheerful number. Some hardcore Drum n Bass with a samples from everybody's favourite posession-orientated film (no, not Ghostbusters II) - DJ Paul Ft. Headbanger - Your Mother Sucks Cocks in Hell (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=6E4468D8654176FE)

Also, I felt like some drum solo instrumental music and so, naturally, downloaded Cozy Powell - Dance With The Devil (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=593F68AE4B18495F)

However, whilst looking for the above song, I stumbled across a rap song with the same name, by Immortal Technique. Note: this song contains explicit descriptions of...everything. (Ps, if anyone can tell me where that piano loop is from it would be greaty appreciated.) Dance With The Devil (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=4B41FBC615DBA573)

The Liberteens - a band not to everyones taste (and barely my own). The vast majority of their stuff might be questionable at best, however Don't Look Back Into the Sun (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=797131586C69833B) is a personal favourite of mine.

This (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=B2EC022E4B9C1518) is Hopskotch, by Farse - an awesome Birmingham skacore band who are unfortunately not together anymore. Listen.

Anyone who has seen The Lost Boys will recognise and love this little number by Echo and the Bunnymen (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=6682F00044137A13)

As it's summer, I'll upload some Spin Doctors: Just Go Ahead Now (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=F10C8C36783BD7C8)

Continuing with the summer feel, it's the Stray Cats doing I Fought The Law (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=527534E22E2BB241)

I think I may have uploaded this before, but it's worth the risk to get people listening to Dirty Lenin (possibly Russia's sleaziest band). Make With The Sexy (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=2222F8B34D6F1C95)

And finally, I did the classic thing of searching for files containing my name. So I typed in Andy Palmer and got (believe it or not) some music by Mc Palmer & Andy P. They are Happy Hardcore MC's, and they appear to be emceeing over a dodgy MIDI version of Take On Me. Check it out. (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=AFD326CF67AFEFCB)

Eclectic enough? It fucking is.

I spent ages doing this. How bloody rude! This is the last time I offer you people music *sulks*

I downloaded some of them.

I love that Spin Doctors song; it's great. As for I Fought The Law, I listened to The Clash's version to boredom - the Stray Cat's version being different has given the song a different feel. I like it. Was that the original, or was it by The Crickets.

Wasn't too keen on that version of Take On Me, not my style. The first link didn't seem to work either (yeah, the rude reference in the song title interested me...).

As for The Libertines - I downloaded a load of their songs some time ago but I still haven't taken time to listen to any of them. I have a nasty habit of doing that when checking bands out.

I might try the other songs out too.

EDIT: I also liked the songs by Farse, Echo and the Bunnymen and Dirty Lenin.

I also figured I'd let you know I downloaded most of this. Except some no because you send it was being stupid.

But hey, it's always nice to know that after you spend half an hour uploading songs, that somebody spends the 2 minutes required to click on them and download them.

Oops, I am late. As usual. I think I'll bother you to send me some. Some titles sounded interesting. And I'm always up for something new.

Bless you, I was beginning to give up hope.

And Sim, I'll probably drown you in them next time I'm on MSN.

Aaandy, do you have more songs of Spin Doctors? Except What Time Is It?

06-17-2006, 04:37 AM
I have a couple more. In fact, next week I should have lots more. When I do, I'll set up a Spin Doctors thread for y'all.

Thank you! That would be great.

And I already started a Spin Doctors thread, you can use that. I hate having threads with two posts.

No problem, consider it done.
