I've been listening to this loop for like 10 minutes. It's amazing.

That's awesome, I love acapellas. It reminds me of a chior in my school. It's like a mix of pirate theme music and Jazz.

Holy fuck.

I really hate how hard it was for me to close that.

There was a thread just like this on the World of Warcraft forums. I personally closed it with in 2 minutes. It's just annoying to me...

ah, another one of these addictive clips... I had just gotten addicted to the pi song (http://pi.ytmnd.com/) a few weeks ago and I got it out of my system a few days ago. I know this will be haunting me for a few weeks now since this is 100 times cooler than the pi song.

It's not that it's very good, it's just that for some reason, I want to hear what happens next...

I closed that in a record time of about 3 seconds, extremely annoying, with annoying looking animations.

It kind of reminds me of this, which I couldn't stop refreshing for a while:

Edit: Now I want to know what the hell they're saying in that song and hear the rest of it.

I'd like that better without that mildly creepy animation.

The actual song is so much better.

Oh hell no! Yesterday was my last day of school, also meaning the last day I had to listen to that thing on loop for 5 hours a day.

Atleast I can choose not to hear it this time.

Not as addictive as the Luma Luma song though. Still, it has a quality.. Like musical heroin.

EDIT: Holy hell, I've been listening to it for 15 minutes. It's just so damn easy to listen to.

This is great. Is it Finnish? It's great anyway. This group could make lots of money on this song. Just put it on loop for 70 minutes on a CD.

I want the lyrics by the way.

I'm pretty sure it's a non-existent phantasy language.

Mannen som blev en gris

Yeah, probably. But I still think it sounds like Finnish. Kitos. Parasta ennen.

hahaha, that one is BRILLIANT! I looooove it.

the song posted (the first link in this thread) I closed after a couple of minutes. it repeats itself. how can you listen to it over five times? honestly. I think I bruised my brain enough with some of the recommendations I got from you & which I accidently put on repeat. for over half an hour. *slams head against desk*

Because it's fantastic! And I've listened to that Deep Turtle song over and over for 30 minutes too. I didn't have it on repeat or anything either, it's just so infectious that I had to hit 'play' again every time it ended.

now that sounds a LOT more like an actual language. pretty cute.

I think the song itself is actually in Finnish, but that little excerpt from the flash is basically just... a bunch of jibberish.

uh huh. it's a part of the original, so it seems.

The actual sone sounds way better in my opinion. I still wouldn't put it on repeat though. I hate listening to any song more then one time in a row.

A mix of Finnish and gibberish apparently.

I woke up this morning with this song stuck in my head, thanks to Per putting it on every time we open the BBS.

I was tempted to start humming it to piss him off (it was 7.00 am), but with my rythm skills, he probably wouldn't have recognized it anyway.

I figured out it is Finnish, but sometimes in acapellas, the acapella likes to jazz up words. For example, let's take the word "Tap" it may become, "Tap-a-tap-a-tap" Bad example, sorry, I couldn't think of any more. I don't know if that's the case here, but some acapellas do that to make the song more interesting.

I ended up with that song on my mp3 player and I can't stop listening to it.

Levan Polkaa / Leva's polka

Nuapurista kuulu se polokan tahti
jalakani pohjii kutkutti.
Ievan äiti se tyttöösä vahti
vaan kyllähän Ieva sen jutkutti,
sillä ei meitä silloin kiellot haittaa
kun myö tanssimme laiasta laitaan.
Salivili hipput tupput täppyt
äppyt tipput hilijalleen.

Ievan suu oli vehnäsellä
ko immeiset onnee toevotti.
Peä oli märkänä jokaisella
ja viulu se vinku ja voevotti.
Ei tätä poikoo märkyys haittaa
sillon ko laskoo laiasta laitaan.
Salivili hipput.

Ievan äiti se kammarissa
virsiä veisata huijjuutti,
kun tämä poika naapurissa
ämmän tyttöä nuijjuutti.
Eikä tätä poikoo ämmät haittaa
sillon ko laskoo laiasta laitaan.
Salivili.

Siellä oli lystiä soiton jäläkeen
sain minä kerran sytkyyttee.
Kottiin ko mäntii ni ämmä se riitelj
ja Ieva jo alako nyyhkyytteek.
Minä sanon Ievalle mitäpä se haittaa
laskemma vielähi laiasta laitaa.
Salivili.

Muorille sanon jotta tukkee suusi
en ruppee sun terveyttäs takkoomaa.
Terveenä peäset ku korjoot luusi
ja määt siitä murjuus makkoomaa.
Ei tätä poikoo hellyys haittaa
ko akkoja huhkii laiasta laitaan.
Salivili.

Sen minä sanon jotta purra pittää
ei mua niin voan nielasta.
Suat männä ite vaikka lännestä ittään
vaan minä en luovu Ievasta,
sillä ei tätä poikoo kainous haittaa
sillon ko tanssii laiasta laitaan.
Salivili.

Translation:

The sound of a polka drifted from my neighbor's
and set my feet a-tapping oh!
Ieva's mother had her eye on her daughter but
Ieva she managed to fool her, you know.
'Cause who's going to listen to mother saying no
when we're all busy dancing to and fro!

Ieva was smiling, the fiddle it was wailing
as people crowded round to wish her luck.
Everyone was hot but it didn't seem to bother
the handsome young man, the dashing buck.
'Cause who's going to mind a drop of sweat
when he's all busy dancing to and fro!

Ieva's mother she shut herself away
in her own quiet room to hum a hymn.
Leaving our hero to have a spot of fun
in a neighbor's house when the lights are dim.
'Cause what does it matter what the old folks say
when you're all busy dancing to and fro!

When the music stopped then the real fun began
and that's when the laddie fooled around.
When he took her home, when the dancing was over
her mother angrily waiting they found.
But I said to her, Ieva, now don't you weep
and we'll soon be dancing to and fro!

I said to her mother now stop that noise
or I won't be responsible for what I do.
If you go quietly and stay in your room
you won't get hurt while your daughter I woo.
'Cause this fine laddie is a wild sort of guy
when he's all busy dancing to and fro!

One thing I tell you is you won't trap me,
no, you won't find me an easy catch.
Travel to the east and travel to the west but
Ieva and I are going to make a match.
'Cause this fine laddie ain't the bashful sort
when he's all busy dancing to and fro.
