I reckon you needed a middle option. I can listen to them, but I don't really like them.

Yeah, I'm indifferent, yet leading slightly towards liking them, because so many people hate them.

a lot of people hate putting red-hot pokers in their eyes, creating ant farms in their colon, and peeling their fingernails off with rusty pliers.

Exactly my point. Now, pass me my lucky red hot pokers. I should also get more ants.

Hybrid Theory EP was much, much better. The EP was very good indeed. It's very raw compared to Hybrid Theory.

I voteded 'Hell yes!' but I feel more like; 'Yeah they're alright'.

I'm not going to vote. Their songs are okay, but they are very repetitive (Crawling and Numb sound exactly the same) and they are pretty depressing too.

I voted "hell no" when I really mean "not my thing really".

Ever since I started posting here, I can't listen to them without laughing.

Hybrid Theory was pretty great, the EP was pretty okay, Meteora was boring as all fuck, and I don't even know if they've done anything since.

"Faint" is still an amazing song.

For the most part, they're pretty embarassing though. I'll still admit that I liked Hybrid Theory. I probably don't anymore, but I haven't listened to it years, so maybe I do. *shrug* Dunno.

When I was about 12 years old, Hybrid Theory was pure genius. I had never heard anything like it and found it awesome.

When I started buying cds rather than downloading single songs that I liked from the radio/various video games (I started about a year later), I discovered there were many better bands than them.

Have you heard the Reading My Eyes demo? I love that song. Mike Shinoda busts some badass rhymes in it. And the chorus is just like Linkin Park. The only problem is that I don't think the verses and the chorus go together.

hahaha, same here. but their music.. dun like it. it has a sentimental value I'll never deny, but it's just not my type of thing. nothing wrong with it, though.

Wow, i used to be obsessed with Linkin Park. Then i realized there were better band's and stopped listening to them. It also didn't help that they havn't came out with new material in years, and some mexican kid ran off with my copy of Hybrid Theory.

Actually, they have released 5. One before Hybrid Theory. One with Jay Z. One was Reanimation, a pile of rubbish too boot.

they released: hybrid theory ep, hybrid theory, reanimation, linkin park live in texas cd, meteora, & Linkin Park & Jay-Z Collision Course. & they have a bunch of singles. I love the rap mixed with their rock, but most of the time i love their classic rock like on: hybrid theory. I like pushing me away as their best song, probably. They haven't made new cds in a couple of years because they are waiting for Mike Shinoda to not be so busy with: Fort Minor.

I personally define an album release as new songs. Like an LP. An EP is kind of an album... live cds don't count (whether or not Jay Z was there), nor do remixes.

And will you please give me a definition of "classic rock", in your own words? (not looked up on wikipedia or what have you.)

(not looked up on wikipedia or what have you.) well that came out wrong, i didn't mean actual classic rock, thats more like black sabbath, the reason i said hybrid theory was classic rock is because it was the closes to rock as they got, now it is just remix, but i love both kinds. not that it is classic rock, it was just their classic version, because that was their old stuff.
