dr. doctor a number of times (five now?), child pornography, silver daggers, neon lipstick, wires on fire, yuma nora, rose for bohdan, so so many white white tigers, shoplifting, the coughs, mika miko, curse of the birthmark, experimental dental school.

i'm sure i'm forgetting a few.

and i can't say who i'll see later this year until i actually go. plus shows don't get announced until a month or so before they happen, so who knows?

[edit] repeat repeat, abe vigoda, an albatross (how the fuck did i forget that?!).

frank turner, gay for johnny depp, public relations exercise, score one for safety, horse the band, jesu, capricorns, the evens, findo gask, 65daysofstatic, jonah matranga, ian love, mistakes in animation, and I'm sure there are quite a few others I'm forgetting at the moment.

Some band on the forthcoming Monday, can't remember who, filming them. frank turner, jamie lenman (doing an acoustic), porcupine tree, gay for johnny depp (as long as it dosn't clash with some date im flming,) afi (if that gets sorted), apparently tool are coming back in november, if its not somee stupid price i might, thinking about isis next month maybe, score one for safety, public relations exercise, and others I can't think of or have't been announced.

This year? None yet.

But, I'm going to Warped Tour '06. I'm mainly seeing Anti-Flag, NofX, and Billy Talent.

I'm making it a point to check out other bands this year. Last year, I missed Big D and the Kids Table, because I wasn't a fan of them at that point.

I'm seeing Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto and...*sigh* MxPx in a few weeks. Guster and Les Claypool are both playing in Philly the same night but I can't find anyone to go with me to either show. I don't think I've been to any other concerts yet this year.

Both were on Warped; I didn't even really want to see NoFX. I really dislike the direction they're moving in and much prefer their older songs. They spent half their time talking about nothing and insulting the town the show was in. Less than Jake is great live, though.

The Damned was one of my favourite live performances. Unfortunately I didn't know their music at the time and it was just on Warped.

I haven't seen too many big acts recently. Bright Eyes a couple of weeks ago. A bunch of local bands.

I have only seen several local bands this year, but I am seeing AFI later this summer and possibly Warped tour. I wouldn't mind RHCP or Tool, either, but I think the RHCP thing fell through and I don't know about Tool yet.

The Damned (excellent live band) I've been wanting to see them for ages...

The Damned was one of my favourite live performances. Unfortunately I didn't know their music at the time and it was just on Warped. This makes me want to see them even more.

I might have to go to Wasted Fest to catch them. They've never played anywhere I could get home afterwards from on public transport, except once but I was going to (or filming) some other show that night.

I forgot I might be going to Leeds Festival on the Thursday, I know some people playing the 'warm up' day and they said they'd get me in if I wanted to go.

I'd wait, I hear Primus is due for a new cd and world tour. I really prefer Primus to his solo stuff, though the Frog Brigade owns. I really don't want to sit through him playing songs off Of Whales and Woe. That would suck.

With Primus you just gotta hope he skips the Brown Album. Which he will. Hooray!

I'm only going to Lordi because some friends have invited me, so even if they do suck a bit it's just a fun way to spend an evening. Though I reckon it'll be quite cool, if anything just for the pure entertainment value. And to be honest Iím pretty sure they know there not scary, it's an act for the crowd.
