For me it's Reel Big Fish. They're so consistent with their songs, there's not a single one I don't like. Why do They Rock so hard? and Cheer Up! were their most consistent albums.

As much as I hate loving a band so much, I'd say The Living End.

Of what i've heard so far, Fugazi.

Probably the Minutemen.

And every single surf band ever. There really aren't any bad surf songs at all.

It might just be because they have only released 17 songs and that it was one of my first bands I got into, but I love and memorized every song from Autopilot Off. Also, I have never had a dissapointing Billy Talent song come through my ears.

To my memory, there's not a Muse song I've actually disliked. Some I haven't loved, definitely, but none that I've actually rather not have listened to.

The Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution have only 5 songs out, but those are some of the best songs I've ever heard. No other ska/punk band plays entirely acoustic with full brass and string sections so beautifully.

I haven't yet heard a DragonForce song that makes me feel it could be better.

I haven't heard any bad Billy Talent songs yet. They range from "OK" to "holy crap this is awesome".

At least, their actual songs are good... but not all tracks are.

Ooh, and Dr. Dre.

I want so badly to say Eminem, but tis not true. ='(

Oh! Stemage definitely. Grant is so awesome!

Vendetta Red as well.

And finally, Nobuo Uematsu.

However, there live performances always have a mess up here or there. Normally with one of them falling flat on their ass.

My guitar teacher's band. It's called the Trio Jazz Band, and I think the name talks for itself. They rock!

Surf doesn't suck.

I don't like a few Jimi Hendrix songs, but I have never heard a Beatles or Led Zeppelin song I didn't enjoy. Sure, some were better than others, but I still enjoyed them all.

And just out of curiosity, does anyone agree with me on Sublime?

In my minds eye, every band makes a bad song, its impossible not to. I mean some bands get close but never 100%.

Ooh, I found a song that I don't like by TLE - Closing In. Granted, it's just an instrumental to fit the end of the CD but it's still a song!

For me, right now it's Against All Authority. I only have a few of their CDs, but I can't find a song that I can't stand.

Queen have many down right awfull songs. And I'm a partial Queen fan.

I really wanna say Pink Floyd, but the theres a few early (quite obviously acid influenced) songs that I dont like.

You don't mean Syd Barret-era Floyd, do you? That stuff was amazing. If you want to talk about a bad Floyd album, talk about "The Final Cut", but the early stuff with Syd was just brilliant.

no way, that song is genius.

No no, certaintly not all of the Syd era, Syd's stuff is excellent.
Just songs like "The Gnome" I know some people like that kind of thing, but its just friggen weird and not even listenable to me.
I gotta say though my favourite Floyd era is fast becoming the Dave Gilmour era, with The Division Bell and stuff, that album is amazing.

But I'm also finding it hard to put Dave's stuff above the clearly more Roger era of the 70's with The Wall and Darkside, Wish you were here ect...man I love Floyd.

Jakebert
06-26-2006, 11:36 AM
I love the Syd stuff, but I really have a thing for weird music. My favorite era though is, like most people, the "classic" era that goes from Meddle to the Wall. The stuff before that was good, but kind of uneven. The stuff after that ranged from horrible (The Final Cut) to pretty good, but not classic (The Division Bell).

id say pennywise! its just their general sound and music that i love!

0r4ng3

Pennywise has some bad songs though. For example, 5/4ths of From the Ashes.

God I love that fraction.

From the Ashes was good, as is every album they've ever made. You can't say any of them suck if you like any of them, BECAUSE EVERY PENNYWISE ALBUM IS THE SAME. Once you own one, there's no need to buy any more. Don't even try to deny it.

0r4ng3
06-26-2006, 04:12 PM
No, they all sound different. For example, Land of the Free is different than, say, Unknown Road. Even though they might sound very similar, I just couldn't get into From the Ashes like the other albums.

Well, I haven't listened to Pennywise in a while, but I do remember that when I liked them, I thought that everything after Straight Ahead sucked.

They're not that great, but I kind of liked The Fuse. Some songs remind me of something they would've written for About Time.

Jakebert
06-26-2006, 06:56 PM
The Fuse has some alright moments, but unlike with their old stuff, I just never feel like listening to it.
