Is it possible to increase the capacity of characters from the now 5000 to something like 10,000? On my previous PM, I had to delete some information, CRUCIAL INFORMATION!!!. I will not threat with physical harm, but I know some people that know some people that rob some people.
Thank you,
for now.

why don't you just write 2 pms?

No.
But I wish it could change.
I've had to edit 8 fucking PMs for the character limit!

Well, replying to pm's as understood by me and the recipient is this.

recipientsays:
Paragraph 1

paragraph 2

paragraph 3[/finish]

mesays:
reply to paragraph 1

reply to paragraph 2

reply to paragraph 3[/finish]

Sometime it is too much work to crop off the endings of both messages to make a pm understandable. With cut/paste, multiple windows/tabs, you get the deal.

Am I the only one having a hard time believing that anything from sk8ter-hater could possibly be crucial information?

Well, not really, but deciding and deleting for the sake of slackerness is a bit irritating.

Economy of language--crucial skill to develop.

Is there anyone else having problems with fitting it under the character limits? Share your story.

I'd perhaps qualify that with "problems fitting it under the character limits without a ton of quoting in the message."

^ That's precisely my problem. There are no unecessary quotes whatsoever in my messages.

^ yeah but no one else seems to have a problem with it.

I only asked myself because I barely use PM so I don't know if the character limit is s a handicap to the users here. But apperantly it isn't. I can only suggest you edit out parts that aren't so necessary.

yes, but seeing I even have troubles staying under the character limits in posts, that's hardly surprising. it doesn't exactly bug me, though. when it happens, I just put "more coming up" or whatever under the PM, cut the last part off & paste it in a new PM.

All my pm's consist of 'fuck' and 'you', and occassionaly 'you stupid fucking mudskin nigger' when I'm feeling chatty, so I don't see the problem. Besides, if I ever wanted to write a bigger pm I have the_goddess's email address.

Never had any character limit problem in any PM. The trick is to delete any quotes remaining from previous replies. That takes up a lot of space on the next PM you'll send.
