I really like this addition to the board. I've never seen it anywhere else on a board as large as this. If you are a regular poster it seems as though you can almost count on somebody making a birthday thread for you. And it's never the same person who makes the birthday threads either.

I just like this aspect of the bbs community.

It's because we're all so nice to each other!

Asshole.

I really don't like them when they are overdone, or done for people who you don't know at all just because it says it's somebody's birthday.

Overdone?

And the boring people only get birthday threads from other boring people. As the motto was under segregation, Separate but Equal!

Yeah, like a couple of weeks ago we had at least three of them on the same page. For the same people too. And I especially mean for people who don't even post at all. And people who make birthday threads for those unknown posters, just to make a thread. It is stupid.

Yeah that's true. But I don't think it's particularly common.

You're right. But I really think we should make a birthday thread for unityminersrulz today to make him forget all the pain he had. Maybe a new Katrina thread.

i think birthday threads are nice, it could make some ones day, knowing that some where else in the world, some one actually took a second to do something for you.

Most forums I post on have an official Birthday thread where people just toss ALL the birthday greetings to.

I guess this place is just sweeter in that respect

We should have a thread celebrating every day.

Happy July 9th, everyone! Hope it's Sunday-riffic!

I thought this was going to be a thread complaining about all the birthday threads. Per, you're such a fucking pinko commie softie. But wait, don't you know birthdays are just part of the capitalist greeting card industry agenda?

Anyway, yeah I like the whole birthday thread thing too.

When I clicked the post, I actually thought it said "I really dislike this addition...", just because that's what I expected it to say.
