View Full Version : My Fucking Feet! :(

I played footy last night and all was fine until a big area of skin ripped off on the bottom of my right foot, like after a blister pops... ouch!!
And then I tried carrying on playing footy, and then it happened to my other foot! So haven't been able to walk really since last night and couldn't sleep because of the pain. Still can't do anything. It sucks.

Pray for me here.

May be iodine will help? I understood you right there is no rip?

Uh, well... it sucks?

I'm really really bored and can't find anything to say about your feet. Sorry.

You gotta take care of your feet more regularely!
lotions n stuff.

Have you tried paracetamol or something like that for the pain? (but natural medicine is better, or I think so hmmm)

Get well soon!

Amputation is always a good route.

Amputation is always a good route.

Very true. Your feet can't hurt you if they're not attached to you. Unless of course someone took one of the amputated feet and threw it at you.

But then the area thrown at would hurt, not the foot.

Haven't really thought this through, have you?

07-12-2006, 07:46 PM
But that would still count as the foot hurting you, which is what he said.

I misread. Stop being smarter than me.

Plus there's that whole phantom limb syndrome to consider. Amputation isn't as perfect for everyone as it might initially seem.

Thanks for the 'get well soon' messages. ;)

I don't wish to take the amputation route, I want to be able to walk again. :)

I put some antiseptic shit on both feet last night to make sure it stays clean while it heals, it would be a nightmare if they got infected.

I feel disabled at the moment because getting up and moving around is such a pain. However it does have its plus points, like getting people to make me drinks. I woke up this morning and they didn't hurt as much, they do again though now.

As for paracetamol, I tend to stay away from tablets, I'm a survivor.

I've got this soft cotton-wool type stuff around it at the moment, so I've got a load of padding round both my feet, I look like I've just been in surgery.
