how to make your voice into a "blues" voice?
do u guys know any ways of makin' ur voice raspier..like a blues voice or like JOHN FOGERTY'S VOICE or like JOHN LEE HOOKER?
DOES SINGIN' CONSTANTLY AND YELLIN' HELP?

Use your throat instead of your diaphragm. For future reference, it's called a "distorted" voice when you do that.

Blues voice isn't made, it's born.

It's not only the sound of the voice, but *what* you sing. Be sure it's actually in a blues scale.
yeah, i agree with this. You'll be more likley to get the effect you want by singing blues music.
