Something different this time. Have some primative tribal-nigger stuff.

E pakia kia rite...

I love Kiri tons. And Tarakihi is just such a powerful song.

It is cool how this is different and sad how people here probably won't find much appreciation for it.

Tarakihi (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=C51ADF2504F69ECF)
The Locust (Māori chant)

I really liked this one. I'm digging the percussion.

Ka Mate Haka (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=421475E45DBA664C)
It is Death (Māori war chant)

Didn't really care for this one.

Karanga Aoetearoa (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=02CB41FE4E19B399)
Sons and Daughters of the Great White Cloud (Māori lament)

Awesome. This was a really beautiful song.

Once Were Warriors (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=453EB4971F63E5E6)
(modern Māori tribal)

At first I thought this was going to be like a cheezy 80's power ballad, but it really turned out to be a pretty cool song. The chanting goes really well behind the guitar.

Pokarekare Ana (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=B27D609870962AE4)
There is agitation (Māori love song, starts as haka)

I liked the chanting in the beginning, the rest was less interesting. Not bad, though.

Rrama (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=56735EF248B4B1B3)
(Koori traditional)

I didn't download this one. I use Itunes, and I don't really feel like going through the hassle of converting it.

Nyinga Nyinga (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=DE52E5AD03F6D2BB)
(Koori traditional)

Same as above.

Djapana (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=D4E9F4F6411C656A)
Sunset Dreaming (Koori modern)

This was pretty neat. I was surprised when the dance beat kicked in, but it actually worked out good.

What I love about Tarakihi is that the song totally sucks you in and you just want to chant along with it and can't stop listening. And that second stage after the first minute where Kiri starts singing it again with the people is just great.

I had to get into Once Were Warriors theme. At first the guitar seemed to annoy me a little but then it gets rather good. And agreed on the chanting and guitar. Works rather well.

Finally I could listen them. And..yeah, they were fine but Sepultura sounds like a better option when I want to listen some tribal stuff.

But wait, I love the last one. It sounds incredibly familiar and nice.

I must say that I really like Tarakihi. It's so authentic and powerfull. Great!

My favourite part is the beginning. It's was very touching when she started singing. Violin & drums <3.
