A great band I've been into for a while but just recenly rekindled my love for them after not listening to them for months. I had no idea how to describe them untill I found the perfect description in wikipedia.

"corny heavy-pop-rock-latin-world-jazz-avant-garde-metal-blues"

Emphasis on the corny part because the band tries to tackle social issues but does it in an overly obvious and predictable way. Still, this band has some of the best pop influenced choruses I've heard.

The guiatarist is non other than Mattias "IA" Eklundh. If any of you remember, I made a thread whoring his solo stuff. His style and tone are especially unique compared to most guitarists. You just instantly know it's him when you hear any of his work.

and now for the best part. Free mp3s!

Ah, it's been a while since you made one of these threads!

I thought it'd be some über weird something-metal band (I know you!), but apparently it's just one of those corny heavy-pop-rock-latin-world-jazz-avant-garde-metal-blues bands. =/
But seriously, I did think it was going to be a bit less "normal", because I honestly don't think this is that weird... Which I guess is a good thing, since I actually enjoyed it, but still... I don't know. It seems stupid to call this band "too normal", but I can't really think of anything else. It just didn't have anything which made me want to keep listening to it.

I guess I did make them sound more unusual then what they are. It's just mostly the guitarist that makes the band genre all weird. Everything else is about them is just basically hard rock/pop. I know they're not the most spectacular band, but I just find them to be really fun to listen to when you're in the right type of mood.
