View Full Version : Holocaust cartoons

Anyone planning on taking part? Maybe Ruroken could do the pictures and Justin can do the captions.

Part of me can sympathise with what they're doing, but then I remember that all Muslims are terrorists and I don't like them. And what they're doing is not quite on the same level as the whole Mohammed thing, and just feels like an excuse to pursue their anti-Jewish agenda.

Oh of course, what a better way to get back at the Danish cartoons circulating in Europe than to take a stab at the Jews. Because only through the Jews will the Europeans learn how deeply they hurt the nation of Islam. Could Iran's contest have instead focused on examples in Germany that bans "hate speech" and personal insults, or England and France who make it a crime to incite to racial or religious hated, or Poland that detains people for insulting the Catholic church... ??? No, the root of the problem is clearly the Jews and mocking through cartoons their worst tragedy is really in the same league as drawing pictures of the Muslim prophet.

This contest is nothing short of trolling. But hey... knock yourself out, cartoonists.

Good. That's essentially what I wanted to say, but I didn't feel like researching those examples.

I'm very interested to find out if anyone can actually see it any differently.

You think they would have got any attention focusing on crap like that? It's a publicity stunt, of course they're gonna go for the Holocaust.

Maybe we should host our own cartoon contest, but it has to about something else then the holocaust.
Any suggestions?

Pathfinder, you're pathetic.

I thought it was clear that it was meant to worsen the atmosphere, and not improve it.
