I'd appriciate any type of help.

I need lyrics that contain one or more lines that either have the word spring/shadow/shadows or are about said subjects but without those particular words.

Give me all you've got.

My Winter by Deine Lakaien

my winter searches
My Spring coldness needs
my sun shines
my night lies
my spring will come

my winter is
searching you
my coldness needs you
my sun is shining
my night is lying
my spring will come

my winter is searching you now that you are gone
my coldness doesn't need
you anymore
my suns don't shine for long
my night lies in snow and frost
my spring will come
my spring
will come
will become your winter

Now that I think about it. I rather like that. "My spring will become your winter."

I sing a song for the sad ones like you
But you don't hear what is wrong, what is true
My shadows, I don't hear your heartbeat

Your narrow mind takes the air that I need
I have to fight for air but I breathe
no longer life is what you wanted

No no no, you can't close the door
yes yes yes, I fly away for sure
My my my answer is my faithful pride
And you, you shall vanish you should go

You better listen, words that you read
your eyes should close and pray for the key
it's out of reach and I give gold, give everything

Your lips ignite, your voice is a mess
your smell of perfume should make you regret,
you are a loser and you are meant for failing

The face I see in the mirror it's yours
Because I am so a part of it all
You cannot hide me because I am the best thing you've got
I start to feel ashamed when you walk
You talk about the rules of our life
But I am a loser and I am meant to save you

Yeah sure it's a band you don't like. But they had the words in the title of the songs you were looking for, so it was easy to search for. I'll keep "listening"

Shadow of a Man by Oysterhead

Billy came back from Vietnam just a shadow of a man.
He was a shadow of a man, when he came back from Vietnam.

He was spraying Agent Orange on the foliage of the land
out of 80 gallon cans way back in Vietnam.

Billy came back from Vietnam just a shadow of a man.
He was a shadow of a man, when he came back from Vietnam.

He married another woman that he liked to call Diane,
Though her true name was Mai-Pan, she changed her name to Mrs. Graham.
After two stillborn babies, Billy said, "I am
Just a portion of the man I was before I went to 'Nam."

Now he drinks and snorts amphetamine just as often as he can
Because he's a shadow of a man who spent his time in Vietnam.

Billy came back from Vietnam just a shadow of a man.
He was a shadow of a man, when he came back from Vietnam.

"my spring will become your winter" sounds poetic but I dunno exactly what it's supposed to mean. plz enlighten me! I'd really like to use it.

The Shadow one wasnt really what I was looking for, but thanks for showing it to me :) Please let me know if you remember more!

coke_a_holic - thanks! But the subject matter isnt what I was looking for, unfortunately it doesnt fit to the pics :[ but thanks again.

mrconeman - yes please do that, any help would be appriciated!

"In the winter, let me bring the spring to you"
Thanks, no_way! That's actually quite good and fits my concept. I'll consider using it!

Right when I opened this thread, the song I thought of came up on my iTunes. It was uncanny.

Billy Talent - Living in the Shadows

Constant quick fixes, they don't make no sense
Hop on bandwagons, you make me sick

Don't you tell me, what you think is right!
(When you're living in the shadows)
I can tell that, you have lost your sight!
(When you're living in the shadows)
[x2]

Distant loud chuckles, keep me awake
Awkward instances won't make you hip

Don't you tell me, what you think is right!
(When you're living in the shadows)
I can tell that, you have lost your sight!
(When you're living in the shadows)
[x2]

We've said this all before, your shadow's at the door
We've said this all before, your shadow's at the door
There's darkness in the hall and we won't take the fall!
And we won't take the fall!

Don't you tell me, what you think is right!
(When you're living in the shadows)
I can tell that, you have lost your sight!
(When you're living in the shadows)
[x4]

Though I'm not sure if the subject fits.

There's a line about a shadow
Sarah McLachlan - Building a Mystery (http://www.lyrics007.com/Sarah%20McLachlan%20Lyrics/Building%20A%20Mystery%20Lyrics.html)

That's all I can think of at the moment. Sorry. If I find other songs, I'll post them.

My spring (happiness, or perhaps advantage) will become your winter (unhappiness or disadvantage.)

Is how I understood it. I really like it, even though it's so..."mean."

Iron Maiden - Out of The Shadows (Don't run away they have some pretty decent lyrics)

I'll italicize relevant bits....

Hold a halo round the world
Golden is the day
Princes of the Universe
Your burden is the way
So there is no better time
Who will be born today
A gypsy child at day break
A king for the day

Out of the shadows and into the sun
Dreams of the past as the old ways are done
Oh there is beauty and surely there is pain
But we must endure it, to live again

Dusty dreams in fading daylight
Flicker on the walls
Nothing new your life's adrift
What purpose to it all?
Eyes are closed and death is calling
Reaching out its hand
Call upon the starlight to surround you

Out of the shadows and into the sun
Dreams of the past as the old ways are done
Oh there is beauty and surely there is pain
But we must endure it, to live again

A man who casts no shadow has no soul

from Emilie Autumn's "Opheliac"

"They know who sides, shadows, shapes, a devil, a angel, no in-between
She speaks in third person so that she can forget that she's me"

Also from Emilie Autumn, from the song "Across the Sky":

"Fear no more the midnight
Fear no more the sea
Close your eyes, regret nothing
You're safe with me
Look into the shadows
Step into the mist
Search your land but doubt never
I still exist"

And more from here "Remember":

"I would recognize your shadow in a crowded room
Change your name a million times
It wouldn't change my mind
Or what I hope to find
In your heart underneath
In a new rhythm I breathe
'Cause I remember you"

I guess she likes the word Shadow. From the song "Shalott"

"She's locked up with a spinning wheel
She can't recall what it was like to feel
She says, "This room's gonna be my grave
And there's no one who can save me,"
She sits down to her colored thread
She knows lovers waking up in their beds
She says, "How long can I live this way
Is there someone I can pay to let me go
'Cause I'm half sick of shadows
I want to see the sky
Everyone else can watch as the sun goes down
So why can't I"

Even more...from "By The Sword":

"In my memory awakening
Like a dream too sweet to cast away
Shadows of the past begin to sing
Calling out to me in their gallant way
Come away with us brother in arms
Through the seas of silver, fields of gold
Join us as we battle those who harm
And fight with valor as in days of old"
