mmm sugar.

Dave, I want to try it. rrriiggghht now. What type of tea should I use?

Tizzalicious
11-02-2006, 06:10 AM
Brits do that with all kinds of tea :(

Go for black with a nice taste.

Nina
11-02-2006, 06:11 AM
I will now :D I'm choosing Ceylon Indian.

Tizzalicious
11-02-2006, 06:14 AM
Hmmm, I never had that.

I feel like having tea now. But not with milk. My parents brought ALL my tea here, I think it was close to the "bring this stuff to Denmark" pile, so they thought they had to bring it all. I'm not complaining though, so much choice now!

Nina
11-02-2006, 06:16 AM
I absolutely miss your tea :(
Did you know that I looked EVERYWHERE for pickwick?! I really did. Even the expensive super markets and tea places. But they just dont have that here! It makes me so sad.

Tizzalicious
11-02-2006, 06:17 AM
Really? That's so strange! It's a Dutch brand though. They have it in Denmark!

Which one are you looking for? The caramel one? In that case, that wasn't pickwick, but a supermarket home brand. I could send you some if you want though? And I think most of the teas you drank with me were Celestial Seasonings ones actually. But maybe not. I don't remember which ones you had!

Nina
11-02-2006, 06:20 AM
Hmm...Celestial Seasonings. Thanks for the name, I'll look for that!
And thanks so much for the offer but I want it to be my regular tea :D I doubt you can send some to me every month ;(
And...yeah I had caramel but I also had that christmas stuff aaand..some other stuff which I dont remember now.

Tizzalicious
11-02-2006, 06:22 AM
Yesss, those were definitely Celestial Seasonings! I think there was also Chocolate Caramel Enchantment. That one was goooood! I don't have it anymore though :( I hope you'll find these!

If not, I'll send you some anyway, even though it can;t be ytour regular tea :P (Have to wait 2 weeks until I'm back in Holland though.)

Nina
11-02-2006, 06:23 AM
aww you'll be back in two weeks already? That sucks :[
mmmmmmmmm chocolate caramel...
*craves it*
but now i'll try the milk thing. weeo.

Tizzalicious
11-02-2006, 06:28 AM
Yes, 2 weeks, but I've been here for 4 then, so it's not too bad. And then I'm home for 2 weeks, and have my exam, and then back here for 16 days or something, then back home for a few days, but Per will come to Holland a few days after I left, so that's no problem. And then Canada :)

I'm soooo gonna send you tea. I should try to find the caramel one here, I know a shop that has lots of Celestial Seasonings :)

Oh, you might wanna try healthfood//reform shops for that, they usually have it.

Nina
11-02-2006, 08:07 AM
Ah, sounds good then :)

I used to drink kiddy tea; with lots & lots of milk. I drink my tea black now. I love the pure taste of tea.

We started buying ridiculous amounts of Twinings tea. Damn Canadia and their cold weather, I keep drinking teaaaaa! But it's nice. Very nice.

I like lady gray (or grey?) tea best so far.

I don't think I've gone a day in really about 10 years without drinking tea at some point. Usually with breakfast in the morning.

Tizzalicious
11-02-2006, 09:24 AM
Twinings is nice! I once got this kind called Coconut Vanilla from a penpal. It was the best tea ever. Can't find it anywhere though :(

Izie
11-02-2006, 09:25 AM
Aha I shall look for that! Coconut vanilla, mmmmmm

Tizzalicious
11-02-2006, 09:26 AM

Coffee is disgusting, and coffee abbreviations like Capuccino, Mocha, Latte etc are even worse.

Tea + Milk minus Sugar = Best Hot Drink Ever.

Dude, I even drink my coffee black. I can't imagine mucking up tea with other flavors.

Plus, it's not real tea anyway if the leaves aren't floating in the glass.

Aside from Oolong tea, which is an acquired taste that took me 8 years to admit to liking, I'm not so hot on tea.

Then again, I can't drink coffee unless there's more cream than coffee and enough sugar to supercharge a trucker for 3 days.

Idiot
11-02-2006, 12:12 PM
So you don't really like coffee then, you just like cream when its warm.

Pretty much - I get it every Saturday and Sunday though. It's part of a combo with the breakfast special.

I hated tea and milk until Sunny said it was awesome with honey. I tried it this week, tea + milk + lots of honey + cinnamon= happiness on a cold day!

I also used to hate coffee, like Thibault I could only drink it with cream. But last year, I had to get used to it. Now I like my coffee black. And yay, it makes me look like a grownup.

I used to drink tea as a child instead of milk because I did not like it. However, never with milk. Too weird for me. We always have some herbs in the garden so now I sometimes have mint or sage tea from dried leaves. No sugar though. When I am sick I drink it with lemon and something sweet. In winter with rum when I freeze outside. But generally I prefer coffee. Black with one spoon of sugar. All day every day. <3!

Coffee, a little bit of sugar and milk is the hot drink for me. Sometimes I skip the milk though.

I've never even heard of mixing milk in with your tea. Weird, maybe?
My parents usually have a whole pitcher full of sun tea made in the fridge, which they haven't been doing lately, so I've been drinking hot tea everyday instead, although I prefer iced tea, and I'm too lazy to make the tea cold, or make the sun tea myself.

Coffee... If it's not from Starbucks or any other fancy coffee shop type of thing, I'll have it black. I'll only add a little bit of sugar, but that's it. I used to drown it with cream, but my dad made me some one day and we had no cream so I just had it black and decided I liked it better.

And as for the milk + tea thing, I think I'll try that tomorrow. It sounds like it'd be pretty good.

Strong straight-black non-instant coffee, mother-bitches!

It's the only way to be.

Tea is for pussies and Brits with no teeth. As are milk and sweeteners.

Pretty retarded stuff, MR. T.

As for milk and tea, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuj!!! That's just unacceptable and maybe this is the reason why every single Brit is ugly. Who knows?
