this thread was not created to invoke conversation or to share opinions about Disturbed. It's solely to ask if people have heard of them. Now stop being smart and answer the kid's question, damn you!

Ten Thousand Fists is actually a pretty decent album, and I usually hate this sort of music.

And Believe has one or two good songs, I love the title track, it's basically the Metroid videogame music on guitar.

Their first album was just constant rap-rock nu-metal bullshit though, it's basically the worst thing since Turks.

A guilty pleasure, but in the pass, I was a (shitty bands mostly) "metal" head. I'm not sure they even are metal and they were on tour with Korn (who I also don't consider metal). Anyways, I enjoyed them live and damn, that lead singer (David) seems like a gentleman. He stopped in the middle of a song, because a girl in the mosh pit flipped him off, to ask her why she did It and she replied "I love you" so he stopped to show her the sign for "I love you" and "fuck you." [/useless blabber]

Anyways, they are pretty enjoyable live, If you actually like them and I did at the time enjoy them more than I do now.

'Tis. 'Tis.

That "Land Of Confusion" cover is pretty frickin' great, suits his voice very well indeed.

And it's much less "nu-metal" rap-y than the first album which is great, but heavier than "Believe" which is good too.

I've gotta say, I don't even really like the band that much, but their second and third albums are definitely better than you'd expect from a group like this.

the first album was horrible.

believe was good, but all the songs sounded the same.

the last one is actually good. I'm quite a fan. Now I suddenly want to listen to it.
