Who would you like to see as a support band, and who do you think is likely to support Offspring during the next tour (one or two bands)

They should tour with A Wilhelm scream and Rise Against that would kick ass.But there are alot of kickass bands offspring could tour with.

i cant see them doing a really amazing co-headline tour in the style of pop disaster, although i wouldnt be opposed if they did!

it will most likely be 2 bands from nitro!

Maybe another aquabats tour and a wilhelm scream. It will definitely be with at least one nitro band.

It'll probably be more Nitro bands.

When they come here, they'd better fucking have The Aquabats though. I'm an Aquabats nut, and can't even find out if they've ever been here before, Google sucks. But seriously, Japan gets an Aquabats/Offspring gig, we Australians fucking need one. Charge all the money for tickets you want, Nitro, I'm there.

As for the U.S., I'm guessing it'll be the newer up-and-coming Nitro bands. Rufio and other shit. Bleh.

I'm pretty sure Aquabats haven't been here yet. When they do though, I'll be there.

If they brought the Aquabats! back out and for some reason skipped NYC, I'd have to choke someone.

And yeah... probably a band from Nitro and somebody from Columbia? Let's hope somebody good

i wouldnt be suprised if they toured with a wilhelm scream. since dexter often brings a band from nitro on tour with them. and a wilhelm screams future looks pretty promising so i wouldnt be suprised if dexter brought them.

Hopefully A Wilhelm Scream, they'd have to bring them back to Australia then!
If they were doing that though, some time for AWS to have side shows would be great.

what about britney spears...or the rolling stones

malibu43
11-13-2006, 06:19 PM
I vote for Authority Zero.

I don't think Pennywise or NOFX would work (I'd like it to...) since that would be a co-headlining type of thing and those are usually disappointing since both bands deserve their own show. And, if the first band is good, people can be drained and tired for the second band. (That's what happened when I saw the pop-punk disaster tour. Of course...none of those bands were nearly as good as Pennywise, NOFX, or the Offspring...)

BRITNEY SPEARS??? R U INSANE DUDE???
I think she's a bitch that doesn't have anything to do with The Offspring...SCREW HER!

Rolling Stones would rock!

Hmm, When I saw em back in '04 (the euro tour), they were supported by Horrorpops. Maybe another 'billy band? I think something like The living end would fit in their program. And yes, I think AWS will be supporting too. Their a good band, and Dexter keeps mentioning them, so...

I'd love to see them with a band that will grab an audience other than just us Offspring fans, I mean out of the general public, as opposed to punk fans like us that know all the Epitaph and Nitro kinds of bands.

Someone mentioned Sum41, which is interesting because they're also working on their new album. I don't know when it will be done, but it would be absolutely sick if Offspring and Sum41 shared some shows. I don't see that happening though; I don't really know what the relation is between the two bands but I've never seen anything to indicate that the two bands might like each other.

They ought to lay out plans for certain radio stations to choose local bands to open the shows. The stations could run their own contests leading up to the concert, which would in turn draw more people to come out to the concert. Bands that have done this before have had a lot of success with it.

I'd be cool with seeing them with NOFX, Aquabats, or Tiger Army (the psychobilly band on Epitaph). Even cooler would be some bigger bands, maybe +44.

Someone mentioned that if they tour with big bands it will result in a split show, and people will get tired for the second show, yet this would draw larger crowds, and other bands do well with this kind of thing. I mean, on the Godsmack-Metallica tour, I highly doubt that the crowd was too tired for Metallica once Godsmack got through. Personally, I'd wait through seventeen bands to see the Offspring.

well, sum 41 toured with the offspring a while ago (there are some pics somewhere...) and i seriously doubt they'll tour with any epitaph band or +44

but anyway, it would be cool if they tour with a wilhelm scream, theSTART or maybe, just maybe rise against XD:D
