Wow, i remember always listening to Robbie Williams and the Spice Girls; they were my all time favourite people when i was not too much younger than i am now, but i've always hated backstreet boys and shit like that... couldn't stand boy bands.
and isnt this the wrong section?

Yeah, this is walking a fine line between this forum and Other Bands. I might move it later, or sooner depending on what Tijs thinks. Tijs?

I used to listen to stuff on the radio and that was about it. I would always get the Now cds when I was younger, about ten years ago now, but I also liked a lot of my dad's old school rock that he used to play, like Pink Floyd and The Stranglers.

This is actually very similar to my Music History thread.

I've only been listening to The Offspring since 2002. Before that, it was all shitty nu-metal. Stuff like Linkin Park, Korn, and Staind. Fortunately, The Offspring pushed me in the direction of my tastes today.

The only ones I really still listen to are Autopilot Off and Black Sheep. Billy Talent was about the same time as the Offspring.

Otherwise, Yellowcard and Linkin Park were some of my favorites before I listened to the Offspring.

My taste pre-offspring was primarily adult contemporary pop and teen pop. backstreet boys, nsync, 5ive, 98 degrees, jewel, cher, third eye blind, city of angels soundtrack, alanis... some of which I still enjoy (alanis, jewel) and most of which I find really funny I was in love with.

Third Eye Blind is legit, I listen to Semi-Charmed Life all the time.

For me, it was John Mellencamp, REM, Garbage, and Weird Al.

Brittany Spears, Justin Timberlake, Backstreet Boys, you know, the best bands ever.
