What kind of delay are you using? Or is it a looping pedal? This sounds really fucking cool, dude!

its basically two guitars picking the chord patterns with a third guitar playing intermittent bits, which i applied some light chorus and reverb to. i was kinda looking for a sitar-ish sound, but it kinda ended up reminding me of George Harrison licks circa Abbey Rd in 69, so I left it. The intro is backwards [obviously] and is I think 3 or 4 layers of guitar heavily eq'd and with a syncd multi-delay of 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 respectively. i didnt expect it to meld so well into the opening chords, but theres a few seconds where its slightly dischordant and kinda edgy before it loosens up into the flowing picked part, which worked. the fx and stuff i added post recording with a piece of software called kristal. i also find cool edit 96 [although quite old] makes a perfect partner programme for it.

still not sure which version i prefer, though... they're still not finished anyway.

theres an interesting story behind the original song here (http://komputamuso.blogspot.com/2005/09/peace-of-mind-blatant-forgery-or.html) which is definitely worth checking out
