I don't have working speakers, so you'll have to sing louder.

I think the problem is that the vocals sound too generic and too "growly". He (or is that you?) just needs to work on it, really. Other than that, the band sounds pretty good.

I think he/you is/are faking it too much. Be more natural, use his/your own voice, and when he/you sings/sing/screams/scream, use all his/your body and energy, even if he/you doesn't/don't move at all.

Actually, maybe not trying hard enough. I know there's a lot of emphasis in metal today on being able to sound distorted and growly and throaty without any use of vocal effects (which means even all that reverb on there is probably not so good). Also, in the mix, bring your vocals down so they blend in more with the music. Right now there's pretty competent guitar work and then this voice that comes from nowhere and drowns it all out so it's all you can hear. I'd say get more growly, or don't go screamy at all.

Thanks for the replies man, really appreciate it :-) I'm recording vocals in a new demo at the moment and i've took everybody's advice. I'll put a link to it here when it's done! Thanks again :-)
