I've been looking for the title of one of his works which Andre Rieu included in his Strauss Medley (http://download.yousendit.com/A937E8ED60E8266D). It is the first minute before the Blue Danube starts. It would be awesome if somebody knew what it's called. I have a few works by Strauss but none of them seem to be the first one.

Thank you, it seems like that's it. Als flotter Geist in the original, strange translations.

Maybe look into these:
An der schönen blauen Donau op. 314 (On the Beautiful Blue Danube)
Wiener Blut op. 354 (Viennese Blood)

Anniversary Waltz has some beautiful parts I can't help but love, even though I don't like all the transitions in it.
