Before Billy Talent, before The Offspring, there was Autopilot Off.

This was my first favorite band ever, and still remains as one of my favorite bands. It’s a shame, after releasing only one EP and one full album, they broke up.

Free music, just download, listen, and make me happy.

Off Autopilot Off – EP:

”Nothing Frequency” (http://download.yousendit.com/3BDDEFB64969F16F)

”Wide Awake” (http://download.yousendit.com/94F86D240EEF1BFE)

Off Make A Sound:

”Make A Sound” (http://download.yousendit.com/93A351085F23BBA6)

”Clockwork” (http://download.yousendit.com/B7D4F7A443775C3E)

”I Know You’re Waiting” (http://download.yousendit.com/36E5E8CD067049DE)

”Blessed By A Nightmare” (http://download.yousendit.com/72F2EF9472DA6588)

”Chromatic Fades” (http://download.yousendit.com/806BE85E26B5948F)

If you play video games by EA, you may be familiar with “Make A Sound” and “Clockwork”. Those are the two songs I suggest you start listening to, if you want to be interested with the band. “Blessed By A Nightmare” and “Wide Awake” remain my current favorites, though.

All awesome songs, and the fact that they're not on Make A Sound makes me want to hug you.

And yes, it sucks very much that they aren't together anymore. It was sometime in 2005, I believe, when they posted this message on their website.

So, it's been quite a while since we have posted any news. We've been off the road for well over 6 months now. We played a couple of shows over the holidays in NY. But that is about all that has gone on. Rumors have started to fly around about what we are up to. We think its about time that we filled you all in.....

We've decided to take an indefinite break from Autopilot Off. It has been nearly 10 years since the band started, and it has been full speed ahead for the majority of that time. We have all decided to take some time for our lives outside of the band. We are all still the best of friends. In addition to this we decided a few months back to leave our home of 4 years at Island Records. We apologize for leaving you all hanging for so long. Thank you so much for all the support and friendships that you all have given to us over the years. We could never have done it without you.

So before there was The Offspring there was Autopilot Off, like 16 years ago? They made one EP and one full album, and only recently split?

Thanks though, I've been meaning to download some of theirs songs, but I couldn't find that much online, only one I've heard is the one on Rock Against Bush 2, possibly the best song on the CD.

It was a reference to me. My first favorite band was Autopilot Off, then The Offspring, and now Billy Talent.

"I'm Thinking" is an awesome track, and truly is one of the best songs off the CD.

I heard of Autopilot Off from Burnout 3. I REALLY loved that song (Make a Sound) and played it over and over and over! Due to that, I almost hate the song now :p

I never really got into the album though, my friend really likes them though.
