First, I bought some wine and cheese. (A pinot noir from Bourgogne and some Havarti cheese with dill in it. Very good actually, and it's the cheapest cheese you can buy, so hurray.)

And on my way home, there was a street vendor selling art for an unbelievably low price. I bought it for 5 DKK. (.86$, .67 eurocents). So definitely very cheap.
Here it is!

I think those little brats ripped me off.

I dont know why the house has pig tails, or a clock. It might be a church... but that doesn't explain the big tails.

Is that a cross between moon and sun?
Also, CHECK OUT THE CLOCK.

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9... 12. Hm. And why does it have a.. um, tail? Two tails, actually. Hm.

But I like it!

edit: oh crap, you edited.

Maybe they were planning drawing a car first, and the tails are actually clouds, like smoke coming from the engine. And the clock is the spedometer.

I like the happy/sad/moodswinging moon best.

I think their parents used to cheat on them on New Years eve, to pretend it was 12 earlier so they could go to bed.

Kids? How old? I've never seen kids draw trees like that. The whole picture is a little weird, but it does look like a church and the tails might be little hills?

As for the numbers I think they just did not fit and they had to end it with a 12 anyway.

They were about 10. I agree about it being a church and the numbers of course. I think the tails are supposed to be tufts of grass though. That's a typical tree drawing over here for kids I think. The most creative part is the moonsun.

Is real funny how you draw your stereotype of a tree totally differently. It's what I found so weird.

I think the tails are supposed to be stairs but most probably not. I'd draw a tree like an empty circle or a cloudy circle.

Exactly, cloudy circle. Just vertical.

Those are not tails, those are bushes. I'm sensing a Bob Ross style in that picture.

I hate cloudy circle trees, by the way. That's why I always draw pines.

You mean cloudy ellipse then. :D

Ooh, pines are much prettier to draw. However, it's nicer to paint trees.

Hah yes, vertical cloudy ellipse, if you want to be technical about it!

I love the fact that you paid for it.

The kids must have been happy.

Yes indeedy. A man with wine and cheese giving them money in return for their artistic talent.

Would you like some Mozart with your cheese and wine?

The moon totally looks like it's screaming. Creepy taste you have.

It's obviously an example of modern surrealism at the eyes of today's youth.

You're a very nice guy Lizardus. But you have the sense of humor of an old lady.
