Inspired by the Pokemon thread i've decided to make this one so, what was your favourite cartoon when you were in your child days? There are some of them that just make me go "omg that was legendary!" whenever i see them again and it just reminds me of how cool it was to be a little kid, so go on, tell something about your fav cartoon.

Mine were mainly Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, and Yu-Gi-Oh, they all ruled, especially Drgon Ball.

mine actually was Pokemon (i dont like animation), but that was sort of late-childhood, early childhood it was skeleton warriors. I also liked Dragonball Z at one point.

Mines were Saint seiya, dragon ball Z, ken the survivor (kinda bloody thing that would have been illegal for kids under 18 in other countries, but hey, it was on the kids programme), cobra, gunm.

I kind of summed a lot of it up here. (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showpost.php?p=929025&postcount=47)

Yes, Pokemon was my favorite by far, though. I also woke up every morning to watch Zoids.

And it's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in America. TMNT is what we call it. Are you sure you have it right, or is it different outside the U.S.?

Oh, and Captain Planet was freaking awesome.

I never got into Dragonball Z, though.

I know alllll about that shit. I used to watch Dragon Ball Z by getting bootleg tapes from comic book shops when I was 10, long before they had an American version of the show; it was a mini pseudo underground craze. I kinda went along with it 'cause all my friends loved it, but then I suddenly realized that the shit bored the fuck out of me.

Yeah I have seen dragon ball since the beginning of the 1990s so I was 6 or 7 when I first saw it too like maybe in 1990, and everyone keeps adding the Z when I say I like Dragon Ball, when it was first Dragon Ball and then Dragon Ball Z...

Ren and Stimpy was horribly overrated. I hated it as a kid, and I tried to watch it a few years ago when it became cool again, and Jesus Christ, it sucked.

Doug was alright. For a kid's show, it was really well written. Until it went to ABC.

My sister who is like 26 years old even reads them nowadays when she doesnt know what to read.... but they ARE childrens books though. There were Moomin books? i didn't know that

Books were written and drawn by Tove Jansson, the orginal creator of the characters. I don't like books so much, since I find Japanese made series just better looking.
