They're shitty grades, but because only a small amount of students even try at this school, right now I'm like, 13th in my class out of 200 something.

Edit: Oh snap, there isn't 400 peoples in my class, there's only like 200-250 or something.

P.E. (Intégration de l'activité physique à son mode de vie) : 90

Yes, my classes have weird names sometimes. I decided against translating them besides that methodology class.

Well I'm kinda joking. I know ADD is pretty much a myth, but I do have a short attention span.

it's not the fact that ADD is hopelessly overdiagnosed that made your remark stupid. oh hell, it exists, also on brainscans & everything. the pattern, the symptoms.. no doubt it exists & no doubt in America it's terribly overdiagnosed. it was the fact you used it as an excuse.

ADD is more of a bundle of characteristics than a disease & having a short attention span is one of them. sure, it has to do with an abnormality in the brain, but everyone has their strange habits & forms of behaviour & they all have to do with certain connections in the brain. what's normal anyway? the thing is, you don't get diagnosed with a problem to hide behind it & so you can use it as an excuse for any behaviour. that goes for anything, well except diseases that would disable you from knowing/controling what you do. you are still the one who's in control over yourself, so any behaviour, any results, any consequences of your own doing.. are still your own responsibility.

you get diagnosed to know what the problem is, so you can fix it, possibly with help. there isn't any other reason for getting a diagnosis.

your last post, trying to make the other one right, was even dumber than the one you made before.

uh, I think there's a bit of a misunderstanding here. he didn't at all say he things you're dumb, or that we're dumb as (non-English) Euros. I mean, holy fuck, look at us, babbling in English, chatting away.. he was just saying.. his classes require different skills on a different level than ours. we had literature, English literature in school. & German & French, but I think we can agree that it's on a different level & differently evaluated & graded than in countries where English actually is the first language.

plus, some people are better at beta courses (scientific), some at alpha. I was better at languages, but I chose a beta study anyway. I had a 9/10 for French & a 9/10 for English, if I remember correctly. but oh yes, I had a 6/10 for Dutch (or was it a 7/10? I don't remember), because our teacher was the fucking devil. near the end of high school, I found out he hadn't read most of my bookreports & just graded them by how much he liked the student. (& if he was sexually attracted to them) plus, grading bookreports, projects, assignments is all very subjective stuff. one teacher may love it (your interpretation, opinion, reasoning/arguments & everything), the other may hate it.
