Anyone have a good alternative program to soulseek. Because I'm on the verge of calling it the best song downloading program.

the only thing that might be considered better are some of the alternative clients to the same network (nicotine, etc).

in short, soulseek is the best.

I use limewire now, but i just hate the fact that whatever you're looking for there is always porn between it. I doesn't matter what you typed at the search bar it's always full of porn.

Does soulseek have the same problem? and how is it compared to limewire?

because it doesn't have rare music like soulseek does?

I'm currently using eMule, and I'm pretty happy so far.

I used to use IRC and it was brilliant at getting me what I wanted. I don't listen to music anymore really though so I haven't touched it in a while.

I need a reason to be remotely cheery?

well in that case, my reputation most certainly took a 180 degree turn.

suppose.. something fucking awesome had happened. would you expect me to share that with you at this very moment to explain my unusual cheery behaviour? or would you expect me to explain that it's more often the case I'm in a bad mood, because something particularly bad happened, than that I'm in a good mood, just/only when something good happened?

just having read this post, I'm assuming you think my reaction to your post is.. unfriendly, right? that's not life, that's the internet. you can't read my tone. I'm absolutely fine & yes, in a generally good mood. as usual, when nothing particularly goes wrong. =)

ah no, don't worry about it. I'm not that easily offended. I just found it a strange question & wondered if I really come off as cranky, or if I was just interpreting things in that direction.

if you'd ever meet me, you'd know that in real life I am permanently bouncy & giggly. it's bound to drive people nuts, I tell you!
