I can't really remember, but i'm guessing NRK (Norwegian channel) or something like that...

I hated it.

It was horrible in my opinion. I remember my older brother teaching me to hate them. Good times.

When I was younger, I loved it because the novelty of it is great when you're a little kid. I went back and watched some old tapes we have of it from when I was little, and holy shit, it is the most preachy show I've ever seen.

I've never seen it but it really looks like one of those puppet shows that screw you up for life, like the dolmio pasta advert or something.

Mark me down as a fan.

Aw I loved that show as a kid. It was great. Especially when the teenage boy gets hooked on steroids.

If I remember correctly it always had those "what have you learned after this experience" type of thing..

I strongly prefer this man in a dinosaur costume (http://www.pornotube.com/media.php?m=56772).

Haha, WIN!

Preachy? How?

Have you watched it since you were kid? Like, 80% of the episodes are about some sort of "I think we learned something today..." episodes, and not in the mocking South Park way, but in the "Jesus Christ, with the exception of John Stamos, I hate Full House" way.

That show was one of the best shows. And I would watch it again in a heartbeat if they put it back on.

I loved it as a little kid. Granted, I was obsessed with dinosaurs anyway at that age, but she show was decent kid's fare.

Jakebert, I agree with you, you have a point. But, I mean, have you watched Transformers lately? The old TMNT show? Fucking horrendous. I loved that shit as a six year old, but of course we're not going to be able to appreciate this stuff as much now. Kids think completely differently. And all three of these shows are just that: excellent kid's entertainment.

Yeah, but the best kid's shows are still interesting to watch as an adult. Hell, I still love Rocko's Modern Life and I'm 18 years old.

Seconded. I also still like Doug. Too bad youtube is the only place to watch it anymore.

The first thing I thought of when I saw that pic was, "Full House has a dinosaur version?"

The only episode I remember whas where they thought the world was flat and they had a little half-world globe thing that I thought was clever.

Rocko's was kinda like Ren & Stimpy though. Sure, it was a kid's show, but it was pushing boundaries. There were a lot of parental complaints.

If you take just about any oldschool Saturday morning cartoon you loved as a kid, chances are it won't stand up well these days. Just the way it is. I loved Transformers, but watching it now you'd realise how was it was. But kids love it, so who can complain?

Never say an unkind word about the Turtles.

Did anyone ever see that banned scene from Rocko where Heffer was sleeping in a stable of cows, and the farmer was hooking up the milking machines? He hooked one up to Heffer, who is a guy, and stars showed up in his eyes and he smiled really big. I'll try to find it on youtube.
