It was absolutely amazing weather. My boyfriend and I went for a looongg walk today. I thought I'd share this with you guys. Also, I know Tizz & Per had a great day as well - this thread is dedicated to the weather of today; with pictures, lolz. Enjoy & share your day with us.

That looks like a real pretty place to be in nice weather: It was pleasent here but it was chilly and we didn't have the same sun we have done on the nicer days recently. Its nice the clocks have (edit: gone) forward, the (edit: days)days seem to last so much longer.

Pretty. :) I don't think it was as gorgeous here... but I didn't go outside today.

Aaah, so pretty! How I love spring <3 And your sunglasses!

I was gonna post some of my pics in photoalbum, but I'll just spam here too then :P

The view this morning was amazing!

Enjoying the sun on our balcony! (Actually, there is no sun on our balcony in the afternoon, there is in the morning though, summer is gonna be heaven there!)

As much as I hate nice weather and couples (because I live in Quebec where the north pole is next door, and because I've been single all my life, which I shamelessly admit), I gotta say these are all nice pics. Whenever I get one (or both) of the two aforementioned good things, be prepared for a lot of pics as well.

Quebec is pretty much at the same latitude Nina's at. :P But the weather is definitely colder where you are. Just pointing out that it's the same distance from the north pole, cause I'm an ass.

Those pictures are nice.
I cannot wait until summer. It's the 3 month window of the year where you can wear a T-shirt in Ireland outside and not feel like you're freezing.
I'm really looking forward to summer this year, I'll be leaving school, the weather will be nice, no pressure for a few months, and drinking in nice weather is great.

...I actually hate this thread because Its so close, yet so far :(

The magnetic north pole, at least, is in Canada, for your information.

And Coneman, come for a year in Quebec and when you go back to Ireland you'll want to stay shirtless year-round.

Coneman is Ireland's weather a lot like in England/London? I have a friend from Ireland, and he said the weather is similar to here. But I don't know much about it... I'd really love to visit Ireland, though.

And Sinister, what does that have to do with coldness, though? :P

Not much, but my point about the pole being practically next door still stands. You ass.

I really don't know why it's colder here than anywhere at the same latitude, but it is. Good thing 18 years sort of builds up resistance. These days I get by with only a leather jacket, head and hands unprotected, and we're below 50F or 10C.

Here?...you're in England?
But uhh, yeah, the weather in England/Ireland/Scotland/Wales is all very samey I imagine. Fairly cold all year round, it rains alot, but not heavily, and a chance of a nice summer. I've never actually been to the others, but I know from friends, weather reports and what not.

Obvious bias aside, I think its a great place, I do love it here. I'm actually quite a fan of cold weather, but I love summer too.

It's colder due to being surrounded by land instead of water. Water has such a high... omg wtf is the word? Well, the boiling point is super high and the freezing point is super low... when you're surrounded by large masses of water, it never fully freezes or thaws, so it keeps the land around it warmer in winter/cooler in summer. Us inlanders have it the worst. Quebec's weather is pretty much the same as Minnesota's, so I understand. We're at the same latitude as Austria/Germany, but our weather is SO much colder cause we have no water. Even 5 hours east of us, it's warmer because of Lake Michigan. Why are you wearing so little, anyway? I mean, sure you're used to it... I'm used to it, too, but we still bundle up for that kinda weather. I dunno.

Sorry, no I'm not in England. I didn't mean to imply that. I, too, am a fan of cold weather. I've been pretty disappointed in the lack of snow in Austria. :(

also, samey = great word.

Your pictures are really sweet, Tizz :] What's that white stuff in the green bowl? I kinda want it without knowing what exactly it is.

Sinister

Bri, I used to wear a super warm polar wool shirt under the jacket, which was just the right protection back when the winds dropped us near -40, but it's been a growing annoyance lately because the weather is becoming somewhat not as fucking shitty. The jacket alone back then would have meant certain death through hypothermia within an hour or so.

It's WheelChairCum! <3

It's banana with something I can't find the right word for, because it totally isn't cottage cheese. It's the kind of stuff that's in cheesecakes? Or is that cottage cheese? Well whatever, that's the stuff, and it's niiiice.

Tizz, that sounds delicious! I love to use baked bananas for sweet dishes or snacks, and now I'm craving it. mmmmm.

Did you already look through the recipe book? I was unsure about the recipes I picked out pretty often...I really hope you'll like it! You should do the easter stuff on easter ;D It's sweet and sticky and gross, thus Per should like it, haha.
