sorry no larger pic, the cd itself is just a plain silver acetate like most promos if anyone has any info on offspring promos or rareties or websites with that sort of info that would be cool, thanks

If it were a demo, I doubt it would actually state that Living in Chaos was a remix.

I wonder if its like the unfinished version, like unmixed, or summit like that, like an original copy before it goes to print. Either that or it could be a promo, or a bootleg. Just if it was a promo, im sure it would have some graphics on or summit, like the piece of americana thingy, and i think i make out that it says "Columbia" on it, thats why i think its an unfinished version. Oh well, i dont know.

It would be useful if we could get a scan of the tracklisting.
Just thinking about the columbia on it, makes me reassess whether it could be a demo they submit to the label.
I could be wrong about that though.
As for artwork, demo's and promo rarely have artwork.

yeah thats what i think, it could be a demo that gets sent to columbia, and if this dude has that, he/she is soooo lucky! The only thing i don't get if its a demo, is the living in chaos remix, bit random, hmmm

Artists with contracts don't submit demos to their label--what it looks like to me is a first round of promos, that would go out to the people getting the record prepped for release, before artwork etc. would have been finalized. No idea what to think about the remix thing in the middle there though.

I think it is a promo...

I remember an interview on Dutch television where the host of a show is talking to Noodles and Dexter. And she picked out a couple of here favorite songs, after listening to the just before the interview, so Noodles and Dexter could tell something about those songs. And one of the songs she picked was Living In Chaos (Remix) and then Dexter tells her that's a misstake and it's the real song.

the 'artwork' says it is from whitfield mastering studios in London, but i know that COO was mastered in cali, so im not so sure of the authenticity but it sounds great just like the original album, has columbia logo and whitfield logo on the cd and inlay anybody know anything about this mastering company?
thanks for all the responses so far!! :)
