View Full Version : My band covering I Choose

Hey hey!

I got a recording of my band, Zone Five, doing a cover of I Choose at a gig. I gotta say, we haven't really practiced the song very well (haven't played it in a year and before the gig we played it 2 times) and it wasn't the best performance but I think it's quite okay. What do you guys think?

Blame the soundguy... We were the first band playing and yeah, it wasn't optimal. But it's easily audible.

Man, it was good. Yeah, the bass should be turned down, but the group itself played good. Kill the soundguy!

That was really good. The bass player knows how to do it, great job. I (maybe) would've liked to hear the singer hitting the high notes at the chorus', but then on the other hand it might've not sounded that good so maybe better this way.

Yeah the bassist is good :)
I'm the singer. I've tried the high notes, they're too high hehe. And we even play it semi-tone down, the words "... fucked up ..." are still too high for me, doesn't sound as good.

Thanks for your comments.

Turn the mic up, I could barely hear you.
Then turn the volume on the bass a little bit down.
Then post a new video.

Then I will know for sure.

I found this post to be a tryhard, no offense grabbal, just pointing it out.

Anyway not bad, i liked it, it's a difficult song to play while singing at parts and I congradulate you and your band, you did well.

Good timing, that's very important.

Drums, fine. Vocals, poor and mic should have been more up. Guitar, ok but should have been more up. Bass, fuckin' great, should have been more down.

Get your shit right and post it again...

Thanks for the comments again.

And like I said before about the sound... We were not responsible for that. I can't change the sound and post it again. We were the first band to play there and there was a soundguy responsible for the sound. We had no part in that.
