Not really other bands, but whatever. Which musicals do you enjoy? Which musicals do you hate?

Personally, I'm more of a fan of the older classics (My Fair Lady, The Music Man, Oklahoma, etc.). I must say, though, the music to Evita was exceptional. And I think the movie is very underrated. Who cares if it's Madonna? It was a well-made movie.

I think as my top favorite of all time, though, I'm gonna have to go with My Fair Lady. I gots the hotz for Eliza Doolittle. :o

Footloose is the best, and only one I enjoy.

Fuck life and fuck (most) musicals. Gypsy has great music, but my school performed it horribly. I tend to like the music from some musicals, but I hate most of vocals; ShowTunes singing all sounds so obnoxious.

I once played a nun in our school production of The Sound Of Music. I fucking hated musicals from then on.

Oh yes, My fair Lady is absolutely amazing. I also adore Jesus Christ Superstar and The Wiz. And Hair. I don't know if it counts as a musical but I love the songs of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Oh, I totally loved the Bollywood movie about the Indians playing Cricket with the British to get rid of the tax... uhh. Legaan! It was fucking amazing. Squared. We watched it when we finished the AP World test and had nothing to do.

Plus, Willy Wonka is too good to be a musical.

Phantom of the opera is the best..i saw it this year @broadway AMAZING. Jesus Christ Superstar was great too (@ West end, London) but not so well done as the "Phantom of the opera"

I have "Rent" memorized from start to finish. I sing it in the shower sometimes.

Haha, that's awesome. That reminds me of when I was like 16 and had this shitty job where sometimes I had to stand on the side of the street holding a sign... and I'd sing the entire Ixnay cd from start to finish... oh man. Good times.

Went to London and saw "WE WILL ROCK YOU", and they fucking did! ;)
Awesome musical, probably my all-time favourite.

I like Beauty and the Beast, the songs in that movie are great. Especially that one about Gaston. The characters are likeable too. I saw a broadway play of it, it was really cool.

I have never liked musicals and I never, ever will.

What, never?
No, never.
What, never?....

OK, I guess "never" would be a bit hyperbolic, but it does help me to maintain the delusion that I'm mostly straight.
