Red, white and blue are the red, green and yellow of non-African countries. And Liberia.

red white blue isn't France's. blue white red, is. and in that order, and with those distinctly vertical stripes, another little country's whose name escapes me, whose blue is a shade different. it's a euro country methinks.

I likes purple myself, although my more recent favourite colour is green.

On the topic of the thread, obviously.

knock on wood, we all stay good cause we all live in hollywood :)

White and black aren't colors.

If we're talking about light, white is a color because it's the result of all colors mixing together. It's as much a color as green, as green is a combination of colors. If we're not talking about light, then black is all colors together. So technically, they both are colors.

If we're talking about applying to Common Sense University someday, they are both colors.

I always assumed they were both shades. But maybe Wikipedia isn't the best source of info for this kind of thing.

Seriously though, sometimes they're colors, sometimes they're not. It depends on context. Like how Y isn't a vowel all the time.

I remember naÔvely answering "red" to that question in primary school. And then a sweet girl made some retching noice and asked me "why red? such an ugly, ugly colour!"

Ah, well. Children. I believe her favourite colour was blue, or purple. But I don't really know when red becomes blue and blue becomes red.
