Today my mum text me to say she'd "just walked past Hagrid!"

Hagrid is of course, the fictional character from Harry Potter.

I phoned her to ask her what the hell she was going on about. urns out she'd just walked past Robbie Coltrane. Being the sad git I am, I got dressed and went straight to Gloucester Cathedral, where they've been filming the last few days, in a bid to find him. And find him I did!

I then proceeded to stand around waiting outside the cathedral, and managed to see Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint leaving in their cars, oh so glamorous.

Grint was much more sociable, with his window open:

Unfortunately all I got of Radcliffe was his hand, as his car was going much faster =[

Not brilliant photos, but better than nothing I guess. Plus, I got a [photocopied] signed photo of Radcliffe, Grint and Watson...

I am so happy =D

Waita minute, doesn't Harry Potter die in the new book?

Why if he's still alive...

He was real nice. He's been walking around town today actually saying hello to everyone. Not just disappearing in a car with tinted windows :(

It's times like there I ask myself what am I doing in a faraway land like Brazil...

And no, Harry doesn't die by the end of the 7th book.

You obviously haven't read it then.

HPatDH, oh yes I have read it fully. You know what?

[A FEW SPOILERS]
A lot of people get killed, including Scrimgeour, Moody, Lupin, Crabbe and that photo kid Creevey. Snape cuts off George Weasley's left ear with Sectumsempra. Nagini bites Snape's neck and he dies, giving harry his most intrinsic memories, and Harry learns that Snape wasn't so evil at all. Harry takes an Avada Kedavra from Voldemort, but he doesn't die; instead, he has a Nearly-Death Experience and speaks to Dumbledore's spirit. Bellatrix kills Fred Weasley and Molly Weasley kills Bellatrix. Voldemort is unable to kill Harry once and for all because the wand used to kill is the Elder Wand, whose owner becomes Harry himself, after successive deaths and disarmings. Ron marries Mione and they have 2 kids. Harry marries Ginny and they have three kids.
[/A FEW SPOILERS].

Red markers just in case there's someone out there who hasn't read it yet.

Well to be honest, the sort of people who'd care about the spoilers, are also the sort of people who read the book the day it bloody came out.

Is it just me, or does the costume Coltrane's wearing look cheap as hell?

The kids who play the twins (dunno the name but I'm guessing there's only one set of twins) come from around where I live, they went to the same school as some friends of mine, apparently they became real dicks when they starred in the film. Funny, as they won't ever feature in anything else apart from shameless Harry Potter trivia shows in about thirty years time.

Scenes with the Weasley family really grate with me. How the hell can they cast twins with northern accents into a family of southerners? :-/ It sounds ridiculous every time they appear on screen.
