You get the idea. I'm not looking for true one hit wonders, though. Mostly established bands who you just only like one or maybe two songs from. If all you've ever heard from a band is one song, then that clearly doesn't count. You should be familiar with the artist in some way (having heard a few albums, or their fame being inescapable in some way, or whatever).

My list for now:

Brand New - Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades, Guernica
Slipknot - Before I Forget
Aerosmith - Janie's Got A Gun
StainD - Price to Play, Mudshovel
Goo Goo Dolls - Dizzy
Alice In Chains - Would?
Smash Mouth - Then The Morning Comes
The Used - Box of Sharp Objects
Coal Chamber - Shock the Monkey
Sum41 - No Reason
Oasis - Acquiesce
Da Pantz - Nightlife (LOL JK U C)
Refused - Summerholidays vs Punkroutine
Rufus Wainwright - The One You Love
Van Halen - Aint Talkin' Bout Love

I gots more comin', maybe.

Hellogoodbye - Here (In Your Arms)
Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home (though I haven't listened to much else)

Really not very many.

Funnily enough I was thinking of making the exact opposite of this thread - songs you hate from bands you love. I'll hold off on that one for a while.

Watch this list for frantic updates over the next couple of days as more come to me.

Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills
Gang Starr - Skills
NOFX - Linoleum
Silverchair - Israel's Son
The Killers - All These Things That I've Done
Marilyn Manson - The Fight Song
+44 - When Your Heart Stops Beating
Talib Kweli - Everything Man
Jay-Z - Pray
John Butler Trio - Better Than
The Red Hot Chili Peppers - Otherside
Pearl Jam - Better Man

I sorta already made that one, but it was years ago, so go for it.

every possible song physically possible to conceive that the offspring actually didn't write, play, or record - the offspring.

Evanescence - "Bring Me to Life," "Going Under"

Hm, so I guess you might come to the conclusion that I am an embarassing goth. And you might be right.

Sean Kingston - "Beautiful Girls"

This song was a #1 single, but I think it's beautiful. It's charming because it sounds like it was made by a teenager (which it is). Summer songs are so beautiful. :) It also helps I was going through a lot of good times. Ahhh...memories. :)

quiet a worrying list:

The Beautiful South...as a whole, i hate but love this band!!

Song wise though:
Some crap by Black Eyed Peas,
4 Minute Warning by Mark Owen (of Take That fame!!) which i mistook for something by REM...

I could keep going all day but i wont.
