The best intro ever :d
Sorry, You're Not a Winner
album, Take to the Skies
It's a mixture of post-hardcore and trance. They are talented and there are some good moments on the album. I don't like growling, but sometimes it sounds funny.

I'm kind of the opposite, I like the music a lot (from what I've heard) but I don't really like the singing.

I can't stand this band personally. For me, they don't get the mixture right and it just sounds like they're trying to play 2 songs at the same time and for me it just doesn't sound right. Also I got sick of 90% of the fans preaching that this band are the most original thing around when bands have been mixing dance music and rock music for a long time anyway. Anyway that's just my opinion.

the growling/screaming fucks everything up
but i guess they're ok

Nah, screaming is GREAT. I just don't like the growling, not very cool. But there's not much of it.

I didn't like them when i first heard a song of theirs, but that one you posted was pretty good. I may check out their album..

I think they're pretty amazing. 'Take To The Skies' is a hell of an album. They're music is so different, yet awesome. I'm pretty sure I posted a link to download their album in the Music Sharing thread awhile back, but I don't think anyone paid attention to it :(
Either way, they're awesome, and everyone should check them out.

I love Labyrinth too.
OK! Time for Plan B
Anything Can Happen in the Next Half Hour

this band is alright for me. i think their music has to be listened to a couple times over so you could appreciate it though. I had to listen to "take to the skies" twice till i had a liking to it.
05-24-2008, 06:53 AM
I agree with you. Though, 'Sorry, You're Not a Winner' blew my mind instantly. Also, 'No Sssweat' and 'Labyrinth' are easy to get into.
05-24-2008, 07:43 AM
This is fucking shit!

I've got into them quite a bit since you made this thread.

I saw them live...they were before the offspring. and i didnt like them very much, maybe because they told people to mosh and maybe because I was so looking forward to the offspring.

Check out the new album--Common Dreads.
"an unbelievably self-serious mix of post-hardcore, rave and nu-metal aggression that didnt so much splice genres as load them into the CERN accelerator, set the controls to sub-atomic holocaust and stand back cackling."
No Sleep Tonight
It's very good as a whole but it takes time till you learn names of the songs. However, there are some very distinct songs. Super tight 'Antwerpen'. 'The Jester'-- it sounds like a jester. Then, powerful 'Solidarity' with very cool ending with church-like vocals.

Fuckinī pricks!!! They played last year at RFP before The Offspring n I was in totally the best spot in the middle in second row. Just two little girls in front of me. Hope SK will be better more fortune 4 me :D
