Hey, how many drummers is there on this forum? Im bored so i just wondered.
Could you post how long you've been playing, what kind of music you play and maybe a shot of your setup.

I've been playing for about 5 years, i play allsorts from Jazz to Punk to Metal, but in my band we tend to play Heavy/Hard Rock with some influences from people like Fu-Manchu and The Melvins etc.

here's my setup:

hey, dont really want to rain on your parade or anything, but its not really my bag. bit too mutch of a shredder for my tastes, and he deffinatly needs to work on his foot-work, stick-tricks are nothing on practising the more basic stuff.

just my 2-cents

hey, its a mix but here goes:

14" Sabian B8 - HiHats
16" Sabian B8 Crash
16" Zildjian Medium Thin ZXT Rock Crash (not in picture, but getting stand for it tomorrow)
10" Zildjian Titanium Flash-Splash
16" Paiste Alpha China ( awesome)
20" Sabian B8 Ride

all of em are pretty much low-end stuff, most of it sounds reasonable really though (the china sounds awesome however), until i start earning enough from gigging i'll buy some new stuff.

i presume you drum too?
whats your setup?

My set-up comprises of:

Paiste 502 14" Hi-hats
Paiste Alpha Power Ride 20"
Paiste Dimensions Medium Thin Crash 16"
Zildjian K Dark Crash 16"
Paiste 502 10" Splash

I picked up the Alpha ride brand new for only 70 from Ebay (its worth 120 at cheapest brand new in shops)
I picked up the Dimensions crash (about 120 cheapest brand new) from a local store, second hand but untouched.
I picked up the Zildjian K second hand from Ebay for 80 (cheapest brand new about 135)

Not bad eh? I'm good for finding the odd bargain =)

Sorry man, i have to say it, but i'll do it in the nicest possible way. Your cymbals aren't very good atall. Although they B8s are better than either of the zildjan cymbal packs you can get.

i realise their not too good, but when the gig money gets bigger i can then afford better ones. the paiste sounds fucking great though.

i kind of figured that i dont need to upgrade yet, as our band isnt that big (yet). no point buying proffessional grade cymbals if no-one can hear them but me.

what setup do you have?
