It was, it was on the Gone Away single. So it's EXACTLY like an Ixnay song, not Smash, Ignition, or eponymous.

For me, it's 100 Punks, or Totalimmortal on Splinter (even though I think they were both recorded around the Co1 era). Just to give the album a little more substance.

See, i said it sounded like an ixnay song. To me it doesn't really sound like anything from ignition.

Defy You on Splinter,10 songs are too few.
D.U.I. on Ixnay, cause it really sounds like an Ixnay song.
Mission From God on Ignition. One of my favourite songs on my favourite album.
Bloodstains on Splinter,too.
Smash It Up on Smash,I think the name speaks for itself^^
Maybe Canīt Repeat on RAFRAG.I like the song, but i donīt hear Greatest Hits very much.

I'd personally be opposed to putting covers on the albums. I mean, the only "real" cover they ever put on an album was Killboy Powerhead. (Well, and Next to You, but that was a hidden track, so it's kind of seperated from the "main" album.)

That's just me though.

well, and feelings was kind of a cover.

(And fine...D.U.I. sounds more like an ixnay song to you people but it just seems older to me. Either way works though..)

D.U.I sounds soo Ixnay. Even the sound of the drums and guitars is like Ixnay. It must have been definitely recorded in that era.

They only have like four or five non-covers (that we know of) that didn't make it onto albums. Whereas you can make an entirely new plus-sized album if you just combine all b-sides and cover songs. It's more fun to mix and match with a bigger selection, even if they are covers.

I'm quite sure they have more then they're letting on, since during that interview in which Greg K talks, he mentions that they cut about 4 songs from Splinter, one obviously is the infamous Pass Me By, and another is probably Can't Repeat since it was probably written during the Splinter sessions, but nonetheless I still hold they'll have enough b-sides for an album, but if they ever put out such an album i do hope they include some of the great covers that they have recorded (I really want to hear their version of Ring of Fire).

Ring of Fire???? awesome... I just watch the movie again last night. Wow, that'll be great.

Even another old rock and roll song; Great Balls of Fire, Jailhouse Rock, I Fought the Law, Summertime Blues.... The Misfits released an entire 50's covers album, so why not a cover?
