this song is far and away the best song ever written, it's got abit of everything for everyone in it! it is this albums gone away/amazed and shows that when people think the offspring have gone, they come back BIGGER AND STRONGER!

really feel 'trust in you' to, first 'smash' sounding song since... well smash

the whole fucking album is awesome tbh good job lads :)

I wouldn't yet say it's their best song ever but it is one of my favourites off the new album.

Maybe no one cares, but I want to say what I think right now about the song "A Lot Like Me"! I really think maybe it's the best song from RAF, RAG and really one of the best The Offspring songs ever! It's really kinda weird because it's not fast as other favorite song like The Kids Aren't Alright or some other songs and usually I like faster songs like Takes Me Nowhere or Trust In You, but I like "A Lot Like Me" a lot! It's Great! I hope you'll be able to understand my words, cause "Shit Is Fucked Up"! :D

Damn, I feel less punx rebel that I love this song because I thought no one would like it this much. It was the one I was looking most forward to hearing, and it was worth it. And, wow, he sings a lot lower than he used to (listen to the bridge in "Demons").

This song is absolutely fantastic! The days that i liked ONLY the fast songs are long gone by now. Now i like songs, that are worth of listening to, regardless if they are fast or slow. And i still feel like a punk rebel :D, cause punk isn't just the music, it is the attitude. The Clash had some disco songs and they were (are) still considered a punk band. But anyway this is off-topic. A Lot Like Me is f*ckin' AMAZING :D

Yeah, this is definately one of the best The Offspring songs, I can't stop listening to it.
The Offspring were succesfull by choosing to use Piano on RAFRAG, specially on this song :D

This has the possibility of being a mega-hit on radio stations if they release it as a single. IMO, it's much stronger than "Kristy Are You Doing Okay". This and "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" also may have the strength to be killer singles if released, and could help the album go platinum.

Sounds like a mix of coldplay and linkin park, but still a good song, lyrics is amazing in this one!

A Lot Like Me is probably the song that has “grown” on me the most. Although I loved it when I first heard it, it’s almost becoming an obsession at this point. Love Dexter’s voice in this one.

I completely agree. A Lot Like Me is not my favorite song on the album, but its really great and has amazing lyrics. It also has a very Death Cab For Cutie/Coldplay feel to it and I can definately see this song being a chart topping single.
