Thats cool. I bought JPod by Douglas Coupland recently, and the main charachter ethan mentions an Offspring poster he had on his wall. Just thought that was cool.

I have the first one, "My So-Called Punk"
and its very good. most books about 1994 focus mostly on Green Day, but this one shares the love between Offspring, Green Day, Bad Religion, Rancid, NOFX... etc.

I read My So-Called Punk a couple months ago and thought it was great.

I've been debating if I want to pick it up or not. On one hand i've heard a lot of good things about it, but on the other i've also heard that it's nothing but a Distillers Love Fest and the author writes off a lot of late 90s/early 2000s bands as Green Day-lite. So worth getting?

The Offspring should write a book. Of course w/ glossy pics and cool stuffs.
i am a huge reader of books but picky and selective ya know depends on teh knowledge.
i may come out as a Dumb Donut but all and all i do infact have hidden secrets/talents.

ya it is a little distillers heavy, since you mention it....
but all in all, its still a pretty good book.
i also recommend "we got the neutron bomb". i think green day is only mentioned in there like once. lol. its all about LA punk.
