Ive been a fan of both of these guys for what seems like decades, but the only CDs i have from them are :

Reason to believe- pennywise
Wolves in wolves clothing- NOFX

Both were given to me by a friend. And im just wondering what the ebst CDs by both of these guys are.

Thanks

I prefer The War On Errorism and Pump Up The Valuum by NOFX . Pennywise.. ehhm.. it's not a secret that PW's albums ar kinda similar to each other. My favourite is From The Ashes, but you can pick Straight Ahead or Full Circle or any other album of them, you will not see much difference ;)

General consensus is that Straight Ahead is Pennywise's best album. I'd also go for Unknown Road, that's a pretty good one too.

Straight Ahead is just so incredibly good. I think you should get Land of the Free? as well.

I agree with both of these.

I put some PW on my Zune, and whenever a song comes on, I really can not tell which one it is... even songs that I've listened to a bunch of times.

"So Long and Thanks For All The Shoes" is the best from NOFX. It was my first one also.

Pennywise is really undecidable.

Pennywise - Straight Ahead, or Land Of The Free

With NoFx, i prefer the band's later work, to their earlier stuff, so this will be kind of biased, but..

NoFx - War on Errorism (my favourite), or So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes (the band considers this to be their best work). You also can’t go wrong with Pump Up The Valuum.

Personally, I thought From the Ashes was exceptionally bad.
