I'm not an incredible Metallica fan anymore. I still listen to their good stuff from time to time, most notably Ride the Lightning, but outside of that they don't get nearly as many spins as I would've given them three or four years ago. Having said that however I still have a great appreciation for the music video to One. I first saw it when I was about 10 years old and back then it scared the hell out of me, and I was unable to get it out of my head for days. Having just watched it then after not having seen it for a long while I was unable to divert my eyes for the whole 7 minutes and 40 seconds. It still creates some very powerful imagery in my head, and an impression that's long since proven everlasting. Probably my favourite video ever.

When searching for a second one to post it occurred to me that I don't really like all that many music vids. There are certainly more I could post, but none that really live up to the high esteem in which I hold One. What do ya'll think?

I really liked some of the Smashing Pumpkin videos, such as the one for Zero. Tonight Tonight is pretty epic too. Everlasting Gaze video is awesome, saw it on TV the other day. Anyway my favorite music video is probably Tonight Tonight, even though I don't like the song that much the music video is just...amazing.

The "Beavis and Butt-Head" commentary for this video is one of the funniest ever!

!!WAKING THE DEMON!!

Are you kidding me? hehe.. funny thing that I've posted 3 comments on that video where I was explaining that it's story is cheesy about metalhead who's a hidden masochist and emo inside, who waits for a month being beaten all the time to get his final revenge in the end and after his bloody work is done gets bullied again, but he smiles... like he would enjoy another month of suffering to kill a fucker in the end again and again. Another comment said that BFMV sounds interesting but has sucky message for girls and emos. Third comment was pointing to what exactly is emo about BFMV - it's lyrics. First two comments got deleted in a day :p . But again, this video lacks of maturity imo, like the whole BFMV thing.

EDIT: Speaking of NIN I love We're In This Together (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=HrcLT9FP_SQ) which got me into NIN, but I agree that all Reznor's videos are something great.
