View Full Version : Incoming Friend Request

at the beginning I didn't know how those work & I think I deleted a couple. I must have, or else I have no idea where they've gone. Camila, I think I received one from you, but you're not in my list, is that correct? in that case; oops, sorry, didn't mean to. that also goes for anyone else who I'm friendly with & whose request somehow was denied. I'm just a retard when it comes to technology.

also, what's with the randomly sending out friend requests? this is a message board, not a brothel.

It must really suck to send a friend request and get denied :(
"No! I don't want to be your friend, freak!"

it's easily avoidable. just don't sent them out to people you aren't friendly with.

Yeah, agreed. I don't send any to random people either from fear of rejection

I kind of feel like sending one to Holland though, since he's my personal idol :o

I wouldn't do it so much out of fear of rejection, as just wanting your friend list to represent the people you enjoy to hang out with on here.

what are other people's policies on the subject, anyway?

07-12-2008, 12:13 PM
My policy is I'm 'friends' with people I tend to have an agreeing opinion with and can has a good discourse of subjects with. I am friends with people who are, normally, good for this board.

you should be friends with me then :D:D

I'm friends with anyone who requests me as a friend that I would talk to off the bbs.

07-12-2008, 06:55 PM
I just accept random friend requests. Most of them were people who I had talked to a little on the forums before. I think I sent out a few, but not many.

awesome, I just befriended Michelle!
(it's Betty for you, cuz like, we're buddies, so now I can call her by her first name, SUCKERZZ)

It's like Facebook, but for the BBS.

07-12-2008, 07:45 PM
I'll accept any friend requests, but I'll remove friends just as easily.

Well Bella, I really don't remember seding a friend request. When I noticed I had a friend list, I realized those were the ones I had on my "Buddy List".

There was a buddy list and an ignore list back in the day, right?

JoY if I hypothetically added you, would you hypothetically accept?

07-13-2008, 06:40 AM
Yo, orange, do you get notified when someone kicks you out of their list, or can you see it one way or another?

Cam, then I suppose it isn't a problem! ;D

PilZ-E, that's not fair. how can I say no to that??
just kidding, but it might be cool if I at least knew your first name. so let's start with that. ;]

I don't know, I've never actually had to kick someone before.

I'm "friends" with people I like... I'm "friends" with people whose company I'm fairly sure I'd enjoy.

07-13-2008, 09:22 AM
I'm 'friends' with pretty much the handful of people that sent me friend requests because I'm too lazy to send them out to other people.

I have had one friend/friend request, which was Sam. This means that my friend list (as small as it is), is about 100% more awesome than most friend lists here.
