Bares no resemblance to Indiana Jones in any way law-violating way.

I think the timing is now right for me to make a thread on this forthcoming masterpiece. You may think that things could only get better after The Scorpion King, well this trailer puts all fears of a bearable movie well and truly to rest.
That's right, it is set in China, and as if that wasn't ridiculous enough, Jet Li will be starring as The Bad Guy (aka The Dragon Emperor). Whatís more, all of the best characters have been removed and therefore we are entitled to an even greater abundance of cheap fight scenes and cheese.

Sadly, Dwayne Johnson (sometimes referred to as The Rock, but very rarely) does not feature in this film as he was pursuing other tough ambitions such as the upcoming Hannah Montanna movie and Walt Disney's The Game Plan. (http://www.admsports.biz/blog5/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/the-game-plan-poster-425.jpg) On the other hand he is also not scheduled to come back to life again for another 3000 years, therefore it would have been be silly and unbelievably entertaining to revive him again. In conclusion, it looks good. Discuss.

Your post confuses me because it switches back and forth from sarcastic to genuine repeatedly.

I just don't like how they replaced the wife. But I don't really remember any of the older movies. Oddly enough the movie hasn't spawned much hype.

I'm really excited for this movie! I absolutely love the Mummy franchise. And this movie looks great, Iíve very interested and excited that they're taking the movie out of Egyptian mythology and going to China. It's a different mummy! Is The Book Of The Dead going to come into play? Itís been a while since Iíve seen the movie, but wasnít it destroyed?
