consider it a sign from god that you should cut & run regarding your taste in music. this gives you a clean break to try something new, exciting.

Either that or burn all your music. OR... buy your CD's instead of downloading them from the internet.

You can download it again like you did before. My HDs crushed on me too, and so what? The show must go on, man. The show must go on.

Ouch, thats a lot of songs. I got mine on an external. I guess as Endymion said you can start all over again and rather than have 16,000 songs maybe cut it down to the ones you listen to.

On a positive musical note my computer finally got a sound card today :D. Could anyone suggest somewhere for me to download all of my music (not limewire )

Do you have an mp3 player of some kind that still has at least some of the songs on it? There are programs that'll let you take songs off of it and onto your computer.

That sounds like the kind of thing you should be able to do by default.

Seriously? Do you know the names of any of those and if they work with the iPod?

I had this problem a few months ago, still have no harddrive and would rather do this when I order one than find everything again.

TouchCopy is a pretty useful program for windows/mac.
Rips music from any type of ipod.
Download the full version as a torrent.

Are you just wanting some vague sympathy, or what?

I hate this kind of thread from people who don't matter. Is there any way to only see 1337 posts? Geez.
