i just upgraded my cell to a lg envy 2. i like it a lot. pretty simple to use. i use RFRG pictures as my background.

pros- the picture quality and videos quality is great. its 2.0 pix. cheap cell. under $75. txting is simple.

cons- its comes with only 1 good ring tone. i have it set on the 16 ring tone. its an acoustic guitar and then an electric guitar comes in and solos.

I have a pink RAZR right now, but the RAZR is a piece of shit. Just ordered a nice shiny Blackberry (and it's pink, of course. Pinkberry? I'm hungry). Super excited.

I finally tried Pinkberry last Saturday and I'm shocked at how vile, yet addictive, that stuff is. Every spoonful had me going "this shit is just so terrible, it's delicious!"

Anyway, I have a Samsung a930 (http://dev.moonsider.com/images/08-06/Samsung_SCH-a930.jpg) right now. Neat little thing cost me $60 on eBay and has served me well, but I hope to move on to a nifty smartphone sometime soon.

I also have a work-issued Blackberry.

I have a Samsung Slash. I like it except that the ringtones on it SUCK! I had to download a couple so that they would be long enough and easy to hear. It does this thing where the ring starts out quiet and then gets louder, so all of the "txt ringtones" were impossible to hear cause they were so short they didn't have a chance to get loud enough.

I have a Nokia 6085. I've had it for nearly a year. I've had no problems with it. My daughter (Nina) dropped it off of our 2 story balcony yesterday, hit the ground and still works perfectly fine... lmao. I'm not into all these new fancy dancy expensive phones. Mine has a camera, video, speaker phone, etc. Works great, I love it.

I have a Samsung-A737. It's pretty decent and the camera works well. My RAZR completely fucking died so, yeah....had to get something at the spur of the moment and it was free when I resigned my contract *shrug*. I'll be fine with this until I can re-up again. I just don't like you can't use songs as text message tones.... =\

That's ok, my sisters phone didn't even come with a plug to put pics., songs on hers. I thought all phones came with them.
And I've never heard of that - not allowed to use songs for your TM's. That blows.

I bought a ringtone, hoping to use it as a text-tone. but it only allows you to choose from the tones the phone came with. i looked it up online and it said something about the A737 only being able to use *.mmf for text messages.

lost_nvrfound, if there is some trick that i'm just not figuring out/finding for samsung phones and ringtones, pleeeease let me know =p

I have an Alcatel (not sure about the model, don't care either) and i love this thing.
The fact that it can be used as an USB device really makes things such as, transferring photo, audio and video from the cell to the comp much easier (Fuck you, Ericson!).
Although, it could improve on the signal department, the camera could use some help too.

Also, i can use any song i want for everything (READ AND WEEP RAG DOLL!)
(HA HA HA!)

I just got a Sony Ericsson W980i a couple of days ago. It looks a bit strange but it's a Walkman phone with 8GB of memory so it's got shitloads of room for all my music, which is a plus. I'm chuffed to bits with it actually. It has a good 3.2mp camera too, the only down side is there's no flash. Meh, you can't win 'em all.

Idk if there's a trick to it. When I first got my phone, whenever i tried to change the txt ring, all it would show me is the three lousy Txt_Tone ones. So at some point I went back to the message settings and kept trying to scroll up to the other ringtones, and it finally let me. Is that similar to what you are getting when you try to change it?

i have a samsung blackjack II. it's a pretty nifty smartphone with alot of memory (which i pretty much used all of it up). 2.0 mp camera, great fucking quality. sounds nice. came with crazy ass ringtones haha, but i don't use em. i bought some. i looove my text message tone though, its the first riff of smashing pumpkins "today". i need to get an SD card for it though. i just loaded the original "DOOM" game on it and its fucking awesome. sitting at work bored? kill some people, y know? haha. i like it though.

i used to have the a930. it fell in a puddle of water and died. it was not even 1yr old. i miss it. i should have added the warranty to it.

i forgot to add the picture of my cell. http://i.i.com.com/cnwk.1d/sc/32924915-2-120-BUTTON-3.jpg

I have a gray RAZR, and as has been said before, it's shit. I really dont like how not only do you have to buy a cable to hook it up to a PC, but also you need a program. Luckily for me, I already had a cable for my PSP that fits the phone, but I don't have the program. I also dropped it on my trip in Tofino about a week ago, and now when I flip it open, it opens really choppy. As in, it feels kinda like its pulsing.
